I know you probably won't read this comment, but I've been following you for over 5 years now. I have made my own musical tastes thanks to you. I have discovered many of my favorite songs ever on your channel, like "Noosa - Clocktower" or "Ruth Granton - People help the people (Isoline remix)". Thank you very much for that!
But since 1 or 2 years ago I don't find myself in what you upload anymore. I was very attached to what some people call "Old Sheepy", with all that good old Downtempo, Ambient, Liquid Bass or Chillstep. I know that your tastes have changed over time and so have mine. But now I don't like the style of music you upload anymore and I miss those genres on the channel.
However, when I read Emmit Fenn in the notification, I got a big nostalgic feeling, thinking back to that "Old Sheepy", to the "Modern Flame and Blinded" of this artist, whom I like very much. I liked this upload and it made me happy to find the Sheepy I liked so much!
I'm not asking you to change your upload style, just do what you like.
Anyway, I'm writing this long message to thank you for everything you could make me discover all these years, and even if things always change, thank you very much!

The air flowing between my hair reminding me that someone used to do that 2 me and I never got to thank her for it...Im looking down and I see the forest below me weird thinking about what is such tall buildings are doing in the middle of a forest.

Hi. I don't know how much of this you will read, so allow me to apologize ahead of time for the wall of text. 😅
I just wanted to thank you, sincerely. Your EP is able to encapsulate so many of the emotions I'm struggling with, and it's the first time I've been able to cry since I lost my light.
Nothing really prepares you for the storm that loss brings. There are so many questions without answers that some days my head feels more like a prison than anything else, and for the longest time I've just wanted it to stop.
Past that, I've always had difficulty expressing emotion outwardly, and it leads to a lot of what I'll call 'uncomfortable situations'. Recently though, more than a difficulty in expression, I have been unable to feel. I see the color and the wonder in the world but I'm unable to appreciate, or even really process that information past face value.
Maybe it's shock? Or maybe something fundamental broke inside me.
Regardless of all of that, for the first time since she passed, I was able to cry. The blockade broke.
I will never be able to describe the well of pure emotion that this EP brought to the surface, not in a way that will do it justice, but if I had to in one sentence...
I feel like I can heal, now.
And I know some days are going to be really, really hard. but I'm not afraid of those days anymore. I'm not as fragile as I was before yesterday.
So thank you. Thank you for opening that door, and for sharing your music with all of us.

I agree. Even though i don't really know the old sheepy because i'm not listening that long to this channel i prefer some good liquid dnb from Aether or just some chill stuff like this from Emitt Fenn over those popish songs uploaded nowadays. Even though i have to say that some not so chill songs on this channel are really good, too (like stuff from Aviva, or one of my favourite songs "Silence" by Hex Cougar.)
@@ShoyaMusic listen to the songs I quoted and some other old uploads (5 years +). There are so much hidden gems
@@emesic926 i do have listened to some of the old uploads. For example the Krot Remix of "Leave the lights on". That song has got me through the last years of school.
If i listen to older uploads on music channels i'm always listening in reverse chronology. So it probably will take me quite some time to get to the old ones on Sheepy but i'll get there and the uploads probably gonna be as good as they were when they got released or maybe even better :D
