Das jüngste Affenbaby

Immer wieder schön ist es, die Tiere im Naturzoo Rheine zu erleben. Ganz selten ist dabei, dass man beobachten kann, wie Neugeborene die ersten Stunden nach der Geburt erleben. Berberaffen im Affenwald in Rheine kümmern sich ganz intensiv um ihr Kleines. Nicht nur die Mutter, sondern auch mindestens eine Tante umhegt das Neugeborene. Dieses Video konnte ich mit viel Glück aufnehmen.

Absolutely wonderful video...thank you so much for sharing something that I would have otherwise not have had an opportunity to experience...I loved it..the only complaint I had is why did you not make it longer? Is the other monkey that's not holding it ... An aunt, sister? I'm assuming it's not the father because their isn't a contrast in size. Macaque monkeys are sexually dimorphic meaning that their are differences in sexes, weight / height being one of them...
