    Thanks for the video. This is the exact problem mine had and the $30 bullet kit fixed it perfectly. Rooster didn’t have much wear and was able to reuse it. Hope you get some kickback from Lester. I purchased from him solely based upon the recommendation from this video.

    Thank you for sharing your knowledge. My 2006 Dodge 3500 has 145k on it now and doesn't want to move unless you put it in neutral to get the juices flowing in the trans before driving. Sure wish I could find a trustworthy transmission shop here in the Phoenix area. I do all of my own "shade tree' mechanican' that I can. I watched your Hydro Hot video and thanks to you serviced my unit on our 2004 Country Coach. Keep those videos coming!

      I’m prepping and installing a revmax valvebody in my truck and was just wondering how much left to right motion should be in my throttle valve rod like where it hits the bolt and the little spring loaded rod when you move it back and forth ?

    • @zmotorsports62
      @zmotorsports62  Před rokem

      I don't know an exact measurement but there should be some clearance as it shouldn't be too tight.

    • @thaone258
      @thaone258 Před rokem

      Ok thank you so much , you can move it by hand about a quarter of an inch back and forth from the bolt and the spring loaded pin . I just wasn’t sure if i needed to tighten up the bolt until it was touching the pin and didn’t have any movement by hand .

    Would this also be a fix for the indicator in the dash not showing park when the truck is in park? It will show reverse the odd time then start flashing. The shifter also feels somewhat loose and not a good firm feel when running through the gears to select the desired.

    • @zmotorsports62
      @zmotorsports62  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Feeling loose may be in the actual shifter where it connects to the column. That could also throw off the indicator on the dash.
      The rooster comb inside the transmission will generally give a stiff or hard condition when moving the lever from Park, Reverse or Neutral.

      I don't remember the vendor's name off the top of my head but I did mention the brand of the kit and where I purchased it in the video.

    Does the 48RE rooster comb work on a 47RH?

    • @zmotorsports62
      @zmotorsports62  Před rokem

      I believe from 2001 up the roster combs are the same.

  • @arealmaintenanceandrepairl1103

    wow 300 dollars for that i guess beats getting it rebuilt
