I realize plenty of you probably didn’t watch my KIT parade so yes I did shop off my hair. It was a last minute choice and I’ve been loving it! Thank you so much to Diamond Art Club for reaching out to me to offer one of their amazing kits! I am loving it but I think Amira is loving it even more.

I LOVE diamond art club. My biggest tip here is using these bead storage containers for the beads. I find that a combination of 45 & 82 piece work perfectly for the ones I’ve done and am doing. You can use the DAC stickers on them too.
Another tip I love to use for the big ones (all the ones I have from DAC) is sectioning off pieces with washi tape. You can google and CZcams it but you basically section/grid it and just cut out the plastic for one section (ever how big or small you decide). You can use cover paper (it’s a thing too) to use to cover it if you don’t finish that section piece before needing to store it. I’ve found this way to be much more manageable and satisfying in bite size pieces.
I’ve never had beads pop off by rolling it with them on the inside but I also roll it very loosely.
Another thing you guys might enjoy is a light pad to go under it. I love using that and an actual light. They come in different sizes. It was very helpful when I started on the cheaper pieces that aren’t as vibrant but now it’s one of those things I’m use to using, I can’t go back and not use lol.

She had a doc appointment in Thursday just a basic wellness checkup to see how she is doing and her doctor said how she is so mature and doing really well. Made me feel so good! My suggestion with the moon and the witch, rip the stitches, uses a glow in the dark floss. If it’s hidden in the light it’ll glow in the dark.

Amazing video again (though I'm late to watching as it is school summer holidays in the UK). I always love your projects, fabric, and thread choices. I love so many of your patterns, very enabling but always in a good way.
I have Ode to Autumn to start in September as i fell in love with it when i saw yours! I have the same problem with the bottom houses matching so my fabric so i am borrowing your idea but am changing to 34 or 35 DMC to add some magenta into the mix.
I'm a mum to two boys and yes, it limits the stitching time a lot. It is lovely to see your daughter trying a craft. My eldest son has a cross stitch of a pirate and whilst he doesn't have much patience yet, i love that he is willing to try the craft.
I absolutely love that ode to autumn piece I definitely think switching out the house colors is going to be so fun and easy. Nice big blocks of stitching. Love it. It’s so fun watching our little ones craft, Amira gets frustrated stitching but she likes to “help” LOL. She is much better at the Diamond paining right now. School starts soon here for us and I just want all the memories I can get. 💖💖

I can not wait to see how all of the stitchers Quaker Garden turns out. I love the fabric that you chose. Halloween Quaker is one of my favorite pieces; everyone that I see stitch it makes me want to stitch it even more. It is definetly one of the projects that I want to stitch in the future. I love diamond painting! That is actually how I found out about cross stitch was through diamond painting.

Right!! I totally understand the cost after comparing to my other kit. I think the extra tools you get and the stickers are awesome. I love how nicely you could organize with the stickers too lol.
Loved seeing all your WIPs and plans. I too had that same experience with the Fiber on a Whim Brown Sugar. I thought maybe there was a screw up at 123 Stitch but wasn’t mad about it cause it is still a wonderful piece of fabric. Love love Diamond Art Club…I went down that rabbit hole before coming across cross stitch. I have a good stash of projects waiting for me to retire and work on one day. 😀 They are the best ones on the market (in my opinion)
I totally agree. It’s a really pretty color but much more green than I was expecting. The name didn’t make sense to me, brown sugar. Lol. I have to say I honestly think the Diamond art club are the best out there too. The tools and extras plus the nice full coverage gems are just great. It’s a lot better than a kid I have from a big craft store.

We love Diamond Art Club in our house. I may or may not have 50+ paintings. Just a heads up, when you roll your canvas, make sure you roll it with the diamonds on the outside otherwise they will start to pop off.

Than last night - early this morning from 9 pm until 3 am we had a very nasty bad storm and it knocked out our Power a couple of times and I have small tree branches down in my back yard. I was up all night last night - this morning. Thank Goodness it did not do any Serious Damage.

I absolutely love the Peacemaker needles too. I am not fond of Halloween but that fabric is gorgeous. I would like to find a pattern that would be good on the beige, yellow fabric. Can't recall the name of the fabric. I truly like the TC pattern.
I think Grandpas sleeve from XJU designs is the one you’re talking about and it is beautiful linen! Can’t recommend it enough. 😍😍

There are some pins. I wasn’t going to add them because I felt they weren’t my style but I might change my mind. I think you can still get ahold of them online. 🥰
