Ultra-Cheap Action Figures: Little Wizard, Fight Club

- Keep mewling kids out of your hair for five minutes with these extremely low-cost action figures, each blatantly ripping off various popular media franchises!
First up there's Little Wizard, a frightening creature created by smashing the main characters from Harry Potter together. We shall call the outcome Harmioron, and we shall avoid eye contact with it at all times.
Next, according to the packaging, is a Fire Rescue Emergency Hero. But in reality it's a maniac in a balaclava who's tooled himself up with some miscellaneous items he found in his garage.
The fictional Fight Club Submission Championship is represented by "Loco" Gonzalez, ostensibly a hard-as-nails fighter but actually a loose collection of mangled body parts stuck together by a mad god. We're not 100% sure which god, but by the looks of Gonzalez it's one of the more unpleasant ones from the Lovecraft mythos.
And just because we haven't suffered enough, Sub-Zero from Mortal Kombat joins the team as a generic ninja with a lot of oddly coloured weaponry. Good for him!

When I first saw the title, I didn't see the comma so I read it as "Little Wizard Fight Club" so I just imagined Harry Potter in fight club, beating the shit out of people.

I'm glad you liked the Fight Club figures, Ashens! I saw the two left arms and the horrifyingly painted faces, and my first thought was not "this is aweful." but "Ashens would probably like this." for the record, 911 is the number to call the police/fire station in the united states, so 911 on the helmet isn't entirely unheard of.
Your record is incorrect. 911 is actually for emergency dispatch and emergency services, and services way more than just the US. Fire and Police have separate numbers for their respective services.

Usually we refer to it as "nine-one-one" and the Sept. 11 attacks as "nine-eleven"

I for one still love the entirely unique and in no way related to or harping on the idea of a popular movie and book franchise wizard character. I think if I gave him a name it would be something like Parry Hotter, that has a nice British ring to it.
Ashens, 911 is the number we Americans dial on the phone to reach the emergency services (i.e. police and the fire...people). You didn't seem to know that when talking about the fireman figure. Just thought I'd fill you in.
I'm sure he knows that, but the numbers and stuff on firemens hats and uniforms is usually the engine company and truck number in the US, not the emergency services number.

Wizards don't usually have broomsticks. Mickey wizard battled broomsticks. Witches (IRL) used the end of a broomstick to anoint their baby holes with the 'flying salve' that Satan gave to them. I'm sure 'little wizard' might be able to use a broomstick in an analogous manner (pun intended) but I don't think it's something to teach kids. Plus, you can get splinters.

As an American I can confirm we had those “Fight Club” figures as well as the “S.T.O.P. VS S.C.U.M.” In our dollar stores (more specifically Dollar Tree) I think they had those when they stopped carrying official Capcom Megaman figures, oh how I miss those..
