BRAMPTON: West Lindsey Parish #8 of 128

Today on the channel we are looking at one of the smallest villages so far within the District of West Lindsey. This one only takes around five minutes to walk through from one end to the other but it does have one rather large feature hidden away behind some trees and a hedgerow.
That feature is a Golf Club, one which initially I thought was private and off limits, but these things surprise you every once in a while, and as such here I managed to get some good shots of it.
The Golf Club is by far the largest feature in what is a really small parish in terms of area too, even though the boundaries extend up to the River Trent, taking in the farmland between it and the A156.
Oddly, Scampton, which is almost NINE miles away to the North of Lincoln, is the parish where the population figures are recorded, citypopulation.de does not give any figures for this parish. Scampton also records the population for Broadholme too, which is whole different affair entirely - and we'll see that when we get to that village.
For today though, we are to the North of Torksey, teeing off from Lincoln Golf Club, in the parish of BRAMPTON.
