This man missed the mark again. As he usually does. His own words condemn him. His explanation of Prov.4:18,19 shows you how wrong he is. Prov.4:18 tells us that the understanding of certain passages of the bible will require gradual understanding. And in the book of Daniel it supports this. Daniel is told to keep the words secret and sealed up until the time of the end. Dan.12:4 And in 12: 8, Daniel says that even he did not understand what he was inspired to write. And the things that Daniel did not understand and was told to keep sealed had to do with the outworkings of the time of the end. Other teachings in the bible was clearly understood.
And if you examine the new light that is revealed by Jehovah's Witnesses, it is always about the time of the end. Their major teachings, such as who God is, the Kingdom, death and salvation, etc, has never changed. JW was chosen by Jesus to preach the good news of the kingdom to the world and they have been very successful at this. No other faith even knows what the good news of the kingdom is.
And this is what Prov.4:19 teaches, It says that "the way of the wicked is like the darkness. They do not know what makes them stumble." And false religion still believes in false doctrine such as the trinity and hellfire. They are involved in politics and fight in the wars of this satanic world. They are still waiting to float away to heaven. And they teach that Jesus is going to resurrect all of mankind and parade them in front of a white throne and kill them again for the same sins that they have already died for. And still, they have the nerve to criticize JW for the "New Light" that is given to us. Just as this man is doing. He never criticizes false religion for their false doctrines. But God guides his people and gives them food at His time. You don't feed a baby solid food. Nor do you teach a child all of the deep things about life. When the disciple of Jesus asked him if he was restoring the kingdom at this time. Jesus answered by saying that it does not belong to you to know the times or seasons...... Acts1:6,7 Or in other words, it was not time for them to know when this will happen. Imagine the effects if Jesus told them that the kingdom won't come for another 2000 years.
And so from time to time, imperfect JW thinks that they know what the bible says about these last days. But in some cases, they have went ahead of God's purpose. And so they had to adjust their teachings But God's people are still on the right track. While other faiths still do not even know at what they stumble.
And I expect and very much look forward to other "New Light" as we rapidly get closer and closer to the end of this system.

Daniel’s words in chapters 11 and 12 do speak of the time of the end, but it’s the end of the Jewish system of things. (See Acts 2:17-21)

When Eric talks about the false doctrines of false religion, that includes the false doctrines of the religion that call themselves Jehovah's Witnesses. Have you been making all these comments about what Eric puts in his videos WITHOUT even watching his videos? You've given such a pat resumé of Watchtower's teachings that you sound ready to attend Gilead. Gilead is an echo chamber where you'll be fed a steady diet of yet MORE Watchtower teachings. Those teachings will leave you spiritually starved. The Governing Body doesn't care about you, your future, your spirituality, or your physical health. The Governing Body isn't the mediator between God and man. The Governing Body are "front men" for the Watchtower corporation; they are not spiritual men passing on decisions from God. They do keep the rank and file whipped up emotionally with "new light". Oh wow! Bunkers. Go bags. And passing on to the JWs "God's" latest decision that you don't need to keep track of your hours in field service. The Boy Scouts of America could have come up with better "new light" than the Governing Body has given you.

When I was a witness, the seed was planted into my mind that I could not understand the Bible without the organization. Therefore I never allowed myself to really understand what the Bible was really saying . We were made to feel so unworthy through watchtower propaganda & therefore became slaves to men. They really exposed their attitude when Winder said they dont need to apologise. People have lost their lives and have been severely harmed because of their error in doctrine. To say they dont have to apologise shows their arrogant, haughty attitude. Unless they repent as an organisation, they can hardly expect gods approval and blessing.

If l may lllustrate :
An Army commander might have his reasons for ordering the new recruits to do some menial task with the wrong tool..scrub down the barracks with a hand brush..where a bigger brush does the job more effectively..
The commander knows that in the future this training is invaluable in the lessons it teaches the recruits..it may make the difference between life and death..
His greater knowledge provides a better perspective.
Jehovah is looking for people that he can use..adaptable..meek..
Not ones that are unwilling to be versatile..
In the coming paradise settings , he knows that those who are moldable adapt to new circumstances best.
No wonder Jesus chose his word carefully saying ' Happy are the MEEK since they shall inherit the earth !'
(He did not say happy are those who are right..this easily allows us to. attach pride..to knowledge..knowledge puffs up)

In reading the bible, a good additional aspect to assist in gaining a deeper understanding of a subject ..or in answering a question we might come across..is to consider not only WHAT IS SAID..but also WHAT IS NOT SAID about a matter or thing.
Employing critical thinking in this way can be quite revealing .
That's fundamental.
Seasons make different foods at the right time available..food..at the right time for it.
FOOD keeps us alive..when it's old it's no longer suitable..
Jah has made us in a way that we are reliant on food..regularly..its a pleasure to eat also..we would miss out too ,if we never smelled or tasted the food in all its variety..
Dependence on him is a lesson we need to learn.
Adam and Eve failed in that regard..since we know that fact..should we not learn from that ..and not follow them in their error ?

I have been disfellowshipped for 40 years. Not by choice. I made serious efforts to be reinstated, even had other elders recommending me for reinstatement. The elders that disfellowshipped me kept me disfellowshipped in order to keep me from exposing the crimes they committed against me. I can still have them as well as my ex-wife put in jail for decades, I haven`t seen my children for years and I have no idea how many grandchildren I have. When things like this happen to you, you feel like it`s only happening to you. Now, after all these years I understand I have never been alone. Others in my congregation were being persecuted as badly as I was (even other elders)
Now, I am seeing so many others leaving, disappointed and abused. It`s somewhat of a relief to finally understand that this has always been a false religion, however, I still grieve every day for this loss of my children and my former religion.

It took me a good 10 years to get out from under all the indoctrination that these grifters pounded into my young mind. I never understood why so many ex-JW's were so angry but I now do. Watching these guys twist scripture and inflict such damage on people who are searching for a safe place makes my blood boil. When did you officially leave the cult and what prompted you to get out?
I woke up in Jan 2021 and tried to fade, but fading didn’t work for me because the elders had become so purist about meeting attendance (and many other things,) that when i missed even one meeting, they were on me like white on rice.
I put up with it for another four months and finally i got to the point where i couldn’t, WOULDN’T do it for even more day and I disassociated on May 28 2021.

Most of the people who say don't play by their rules to disassociate are still living in fear and by their rules or fake authority because they feel the need to keep dodging them and coming up with an excuse for non attendance. When you know that you have truly had enough and you don't need a JW family to help support you, and you have JWs who refuse to stop darkening your doorstep, cut the cord by whatever means you feel necessary to get that peace of mind and to help you to grow in your mental and spiritual truth without toxicity.

I was taking a look at a pic of members of the Governing Body and asking myself: "Whom does these men think they are?" They are just full of it. I wish brothers and sisters just wake up to the ignorance. It's absolutely ridiculous. Men in fine suits, sitting around a conference table governing a corporation. When will JWs wake up from all of this and return to God's Word.
I would have written: 'who do these men think the are?'
Acts 20:28 is what these men think they are. It is God's arrangement that men shepherd the congregation. So do you respect this arrangement establish by God. Because the devil did not respect it.
Brother Eric I was LIVID with this talk given by this governing body member ,they will not apologize for their many false TEACHINGS because as they say ,it comes from God and his spirit, in effect they are saying, apology is on God, blasphemy.

The flip flops on the resurrection over the years was not added light but going back to original teaching then changed again for years yes to no no to yes.
As a JW myself of 35 yrs+ but... somewhat faded, i would like just ONE question truthfully answered yet no one in any JW authority has ever done so and it is this: if you say you are not inspired by God, then how can you claim to be "Gods channel of communication"? All in the bible that were used as God's communication were ALL inspired because that's precisely what it means. To claim to be God's channel where the HS moves you or reveals to you to say, speak, teach or do anything is by very definition, being "inspired" by God. Otherwise ANYONE can say, I am God's spokesman and God is revealing secrets to me .... but then to say I dont claim to be inspired simply means that you are passing off your own interpretations as divine guidance , and yes, in that case you definitely are NOT inspired. Having the track record of failed predictions over the past 100+ yrs, it is VERY CLEAR that the JW Ministry of Truth is at least correct in this admission: They are NOT inspired at all. Based on the Bible itself, there is NO example of ANY true prophet or God's channel of communication or spokesperson that has made ANY failed predictions or statements or prophecy that were not accurate. NONE. That alone shows that they CANNOT be the "true channel" even if self proclaimed. No amount of self serving, delusional & self congratulatory and self convincing smooth public talk deliveries and then projecting that belief across to thousands of others (on pain of disfellowship if any should publicaly disagree) actually makes you God's communication tool or as the JW like to say, we are "in the truth". The proof is in the results. Jesus himself said.. "By their fruits you will RECOGNISE them"... And what are those very obvious "fruits"? Fruits of the holy spirit they will say. So is the HS now revealing selected partly or wholesale falsehoods that need to be changed later? Is the HS moving select men to make revealed proclamations and interpretations that entirely contradict statements of "revealed truth" from the past? Are past moments of "revealed light" ( by HS) that were presented then as unquestionable "truth" but which now are considered utterly false and would be a disfellowshippable offence if talked about in any serious way?? What kind of self delusional nonsense is that?? So dear GB members, please explain!!

The truth that is being revealed, is that it was never God's purpose for men to be the spiritual guides to other men. Jer.10:23 brings this out. But still, God did choose men to shepherd the congregation. Knowing full well that they can only do so much. The Governing Body can and will take us to and into the door of the New World. And thankfully, then, perfect Kings and Priests will take over from there. The GB is coming to the realization that they do not have all of the answers. Which is a very humbling experience. And they have overlooked and minimized scriptures such as Acts 2:17. Where God says that He will pour out his spirit on "EVERY" sort of flesh. And 1Cor. 12 where it says that there are many gifts given to men. They didn't realize that there are people in the Kingdom Hall that have different gifts. And when the GB comes out with their "New Light," it wasn't new light to these members with their gifts. They were just waiting on the GB to finally figure some things out. Many times I have shared the "New Light" with some of the friends and to my surprised, none of them thought that the GB had it right the first time.
But as God said, "Be wise my son. And let my heart rejoice, so that I can give a reply to the one who is taunting me." Prov.27:11 And so these members respected the arrangement set up by God. And we waited patiently for the GB to catch up. We didn't go on You Tube and complain and disrespect the arrangement by God. We really respected what was told to us to wait on Jehovah. And why? It was because we knew that Jehovah has given us the sayings to everlasting life. We held on to what we knew was 100% correct. And we waited on the things to be changed that we knew were or seem incorrect.
We know that no other faith teaches that there is going to be a 1000 year reign of Christ, in which billions of people will be resurrected and they will be given their real first chance at everlasting life. That is the wonderful message of the kingdom. And that has not changed. We knew that God is Jehovah and He is not a trinity god. We knew that our God is not going to torture people in a hellfire. And we knew that our king, Jesus, wanted us to teach the world the good news of the kingdom. These other things that have changed are more policy than actually scriptural changes. And because we know what the kingdom is and what it will do for mankind, Jesus still chose imperfect men to bring this message to the world. And this we did. Jesus is gathering the firstfruits of mankind, that understood the kingdom to be the foundation members of the new world. And as Isaiah 2:4, God says that in the new world, he will set matters straight respecting many peoples.
And if you were a "WISE" person, as Jehovah instructed us to be, then you would have hung onto this scripture in Isaiah. If you were wise, then you would ask yourself, "What if there wasn't any Jehovah's Witnesses on earth. What will happen. " Then you would realize the impact that would be on the world. No one would know who Jehovah is and His wonderful qualities. No one would know that billions will be resurrected back to the earth and why. No one would know what it means to "Let your Will be done on earth, as it is done in heaven." No one would know that Jesus was only gathering those who would reign with him in heaven when he opened up that opportunity in the first century. No other faith would know what to do if they were the only faith that survived the great tribulation and only they were left on earth. No one would even care about the sovereignty of Jehovah's name. Nor would they have a bible that has not removed Jehovah's name from its pages.
So, you see, we have a lot to be thankful for and this is what you should be concentrating on. These other things will mean nothing in the new world. There will be no disfellowshipping, no turning in time, no issue with facial hair. No flip flopping of understanding scriptures. None of the silly stuff that will be long forgotten. The knowledge of Jehovah will cover the earth. We do not have this now. But I and millions of other JW look forward to that time. "For we have partial knowledge and we prophesy partially. But when what is complete comes, what is partial will be done away with." 1Cor.13:9,10

In the April 1, 1972 Watchtower, page 197, in the article “They Shall Know that a Prophet Was Among Them”, the second paragraph under the subheading “Identifying the Prophet”, it says “This prophet was not one man, but was a body of men and women … Today they are known as Jehovah’s Christian Witnesses.” This doesn’t specify only the Governing Body, so you might infer that they are saying ALL JWs are modern day prophets. In any event, they have had a long history of having many of their prophesies turn out to be false, both before 1972 (when that article was written) as well as since then.

Furthermore, by admitting they are NOT INSPIRED ( Im surprised that they actually do admit that - although they really cant say otherwise given their record speaks for itself) they are then assuming the authority from God that inspiration confers. They are saying, yes we are NOT inspired but, that doesnt matter, we say that you must take our word AS IF it WERE inspired. They are anointing themselves their own authority to CLAIM to be the "one and only" spokes channel of God. That of course comes with consequences. Yet the great irony is that at the recent Australian Royal Commission into child abuse, when GB member Geoffrey Jackson was asked by the court if they ( the GB in particular) considered themselves Gods "sole spokes people" on earth ... did he give an unequivocal and unashamed answer of "yes we do"? But No !! ... he is on record of saying instead .."that it would be presumptuous to say that we ( the GB) are the only spokes people on earth for God ..." whereupon Jackson then tried to deflect what he said and stated that God could be using any JW for that purpose not just " the GB". Can I say with no hesitation that if ANY rank and file JW came out and said that Jehovah/ God was communicating thru them in any shape or form ESPECIALLY in regards to scripture interpretation, they would be considered mentally defective, mentally diseased, an apostate and be punted out / disfellowshipped & shunned faster than Jesus could hand out fishes and loaves to the thousands asking for food on that day.
True..he lied about their claim as God's only channel and he lied about acknowledging a garden variety Jw as speaking for God!

I Lost respect for WT 2015 ARC.up until then I truly believed there was no way this Org would tolerate Molesters of Children/Pedophiles..I was crushed on how these victims where treated, and persecuted..

Once again thank you Eric. Your words ring true with my life experience when I was part of this organisation. I always thought how the message we received in the bible was simple and clear with no need for further interpretation. Jesus words and love for mankind can be understood by anyone in any language. As a child I witnessed first hand the horrific scars inflicted on a poor brother from Malawi who refused to buy a political party card due to the stance that this organisation had drummed into him, his wife and children were murdered and he fled to Rhodesia, now Zimbabwe. Many years later I heard how exemption from compulsory conscription into the army in Mexico was bought by brothers facing the same neutrality issue with no consequence to their standing with the organisation, it was clear to me from this point on that the organisation does not have love at its core. If God gave us free will why would he have to use psychological blackmail to stop us using it?

I couldn't agree more. When reading their study books, or taking a Bible study, I found it hard to work out how some of the scriptures they quoted fitted in.

Watched a video from 2019 where David Splane, ‘Splanes away all the wrong interpretations Watchtower foisted on us by saying they didn’t understand the context of certain scriptural passages because Jehovah didn’t allow that! Yet even a casual reader of Biblical passages can see the context plain as day. A case in point is chapter 9 of Revelation where locusts are mentioned. The context in the surrounding scriptures plainly states these locusts are evil. When I was in that scripture was applied to witnesses doing the preaching work!! WE were the pesky locusts and were fulfilling prophecy! The context was clear as glass yet Watchtower wants us to believe that context was hidden from the GB until Jehovah revealed it to them! I have nothing but scathing disgust for this religion and the hardcore supporters of this vile brainwash!

Thanks Eric. Regarding Proverbs 4:18, you may want to refer to Psalm 1:1-4 the next time you use it in your videos. In verse 3 of that Psalm, it says of the righteous one, “everything he does will succeed”. Then in verse 4 it states: “The wicked one is not like that”, the same thing it states in Proverbs 4:19. Isn’t that proof that both passages of scripture are simply referring to different paths, and not to ongoing prophetic revelation?

I emailed three Jw elders highlighting their flip flopping in their AGM; over resurrection of those killed at Sodom and Gomorrah. To two of them, I just posed the questions about raising of the dead as spoken about by Jesus at John 5:28,29. They have both ignored me.
The third, in addition to the AGM; I sent a link of Geoffrey Jackson giving evidence at the Royal Australian Commission. I asked "in light of Geoffrey Jacksons statement that it would be presumptuous of him to state that the GB; were the only ones to be given spiritual guidance, how can you justify labelling leavers who still have their Christian faith, as apostate and continue to shun them?"
He at least replied, saying "I have no idea what you are talking about".!
The mind boggles - still.
I also contacted three JW elders, but by phone. One had a Bible study waiting for him on zoom, so I'll call him another time. The two I spoke with, I told that Watchtower is a fraud. They disagreed with me, but did not hang up on me. I don't plan to call the two I've talked to again. When we do this, we are putting the full weight of everything those elders know about us as Christians against what we tell them about Watchtower. We do what we are able to do. Most people didn't believe Jesus himself.

Then they will say it is ''understanding''. So they are deciding doctrine that affects peoples lives based on their own personal understanding of the bible.
So ultimately it is men telling you how to worship how to pray how to do this or that based on someone elses understanding enforced through their own literature. If there was no jw org or jw magazine would the average JW be able to understand the bible or stand on their own beliefs ?

My impression of squeaky Jeffrey was that he's trying very hard to sound believable. They must know they're pulling people's leg. Shame on him!
I have the same impression after watching some of their videos! They know everything they say and produce is being watched by savvy and intelligent former witnesses who never fail to expose Watchtower’s hypocrisy. One video I saw was David Splane, looking as if he was totally aware of the wool he was trying to pull over the faithful’s eyes when he actually stated that the GB can only understand the context of scriptures when and if Jehovah allows it! This is supposed to defend their blatant cherry-picking of scriptures and the misapplication of same! Many times they deliberately ignore the context and press on with their ridiculous explanations. A case in point from their distant past was when I was still in…. The scriptures at Revelation 9:3-8 speak of locusts and Watchtower told us this was a prophecy of JWs doing the preaching work. Yet further on the context identifies these locusts as having as king the Destroyer from the pit, not Jehovah, (verse 11). From the NWT, silver addition. And who in the Bible is called “the Destroyer”… Satan. Context perfectly clear to anyone old enough to read!

I was at a special talk given by Freddie Franz, in Glasgow, where he said the Watchtower had nothing to apologise for 1975.
Moreover, at a special talk in the Usher Hall, Edinburgh, where Albert Schroeder did apologise for failed expectations.

Most of my JW friends are intelligent people. They can reason facts regarding politics, health issues, finances etc. But when you start a conversation about "the truth" their intelligence switches off. And when I corner them using Bible verses they start to talk nonsense! They try so hard to defend the undefendable that I start to feel sorry for them. How do they get to that state of mind I just do not know. The only explanation for this is a well known statement: "religion is the opium of the people"...
Sometimes they need congregation for business!for example agent of real estate,always has job,because recommending,the same think air conditioning business etc. Don’t even try I had several examples and apart from that,maybe that intelligent peoples,not so much intelligent as you think?

One of the old light (now very false light) to "new light" transitions that seemed to go under the radar for many years in my opinion was the matter of when the "modern day" anointed came on to the scene. Pre 1980 - 90's or so, the prevailing thought was that all anointed were born pre-1935 because , as was revealed, at a major 1935 US convention the "other sheep" were identified as the "great crowd" and because of this "revelation from above" the door for being "of the anointed" was effectively closed and the focus was now on gathering the "other sheep". Anyone who was born some time after 1935 and claimed to be "of the anointed " was often looked on as "delusional" bordering on mentally defective. In any case this situation appeared acceptable because there were plenty of anointed about and being not too elderly fitted well into the JW narrative that the system was going to end imminently (certainly before 2000) and we would still be left with a small number of anointed to "see things thru". However as we started to get beyond 1990, the old anointed GB club were fast dying off, including those of the GB and the GB were starting to get anxious that things weren't exactly going to plan. In particular the seemingly obvious "generation" prophecy starting at 1914 being the revealed "clear truth" of the matter ( after all it couldnt be more obvious??) as was fast running out of participants and the criteria of who exactly made up "that generation that saw those things" needed to get the "new light" treatment and so began the updated interpretations liberally laced with such phrases as "evidently", "clearly" and "obviously" among others until we have the now convoluted multiple overlay generation theory that now applies , not to the other sheep as was so "obvious" back in the 1970's and prior, but no, it now applies to the anointed only whereby if you were born in the last hour of someone's ( of the anointed) last day on the planet, you were considered "part of their generation". Added to that, more than a few JWs born decades after 1935 started to get the "anointed" feeling and lo and behold the anointed gate had flung open once again (which is just as well as there would have been no "original" anointed left to be the communication channel between Jehovah and the lowly rank and file "other sheep" who would have had the very serious prospect of NO spiritual guidance at all !!!!). And so those with the anointed feeling have started to increase in number once again and the view now is that if one professes being "of the anointed" we should not be discouraging of such or view them with any judgmental inclinations for Jehovah will judge the fakes harshly it seems. So for me this has been another "revelatory truth" ( the joke being on the HS for transmitting the wrong pages of data) given by the leaders at the time that is now relegated to the fake file and has been replaced by the updated, "we cant say" and the infinite overlapping generational formula which will pretty much cover all contingencies going forward.

No. Would God ever reveal bogus misinformation to his people because it’s not the “proper time” for the correct information? NO!!!!
