- After a lot of thought we have decided to put a twin turbo Lamborghini V10 in our new Drag and Drive 69 Camaro , Project "Seagull". This has never been done before and we are starting to realize why!

LOVE IT!!! Only thing is with drag and drive if you break down, nobody that’s along for the ride will have spare parts or will be able to fix it on the road…When you have standard American v8 stuff you can fix it in your local garage…
@@justkiddin1980 very true. Hoping to run 8.50 weeks can have it turned wayyyy down and it will be really reliable power plant.
You got the right guys around to pull this off! Just don't rush it and remember to take a step back and sleep on it now and again. Do that and you'll be fine.

Got a $35,000 Audi V10 hanging on a $300 Harbor freight engine hoist...... I'm glad Garret got me to subscribe to this channel.......

I've seen tons of builders use harbor freight engine hoists at this point I think they are proven reliable. Now the slow pump jack can be replaced with an air powered jack to save time and your arms
And it worked just fine didn’t it?
That hoist just had a one hundred thousand dollar Proline Hemi hanging from it the other week.
I restored many of spendy Mopar's with harbor freight tools sure cut cost , some tools I wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole but most there stuff pretty comparable

Well, the sound might actually leave a lil bit to be desired. It will be made up for by its awesomeness in appearance and idea though! But yeh...she gonna sound like a wet fart...a LOUD one, like...Taco Bell/12pk of Pabst style.
Another Cleetus inductee here🙂. I’m really enjoying the different projects you’re working on these days. I’m also impressed with the competency and skill of the crew there at CJRC. I would hazard a guess that no one else has ever thought about putting a Lamborghini V10 in a Camaro, never mind actually doing it. I’m looking forward to seeing it rip.
Being an aussie, this reminds me of Castlemaine Rod Shop puting a Ferrari engine in a Holden Torana. Exotic engine in a 60's - 70's muscle car.

I like the idea of a cradle mount, that makes sense. I love the fact that you guys listen to each other and announce ideas around! That kind of communication will get the project done and done right! I think this is gonna be really really cool, and I can’t wait to see it! The difficulty that you’re going to go through is what’s going to keep viewership on your channel I think. I think it was smart to do something unique that makes people want to watch how are you overcome the issues from your project.

I think this is a great way to showcase the talent at the shop. Build it to the same quality you build your race cars and show your capabilities for a one off build. The noises it will make coming out of a 1st gen Camaro will surely raise some eyebrows. Definitely take it to a Chevy dealership for an oil change.

It's interesting seeing the different styles/approaches between people/companies/you tubers.. Some just jump in, cut out everything in the way, cardboard template simple mounts to fit and weld. Job is done quite quick. Others spend ages with multiple people, discussing/analysing and making parts 👍
