Vox MV50 AC "fat mod" - tutorial and comparison

Here's a simple mod you can easily do on your MV50 amp.
I have to say the difference is not massive, but I really like it.
On this vid I'm using my Ferrari Red Special and a Fryer/Di Marco Treble Booster.

There is a very subtle difference between the two, but can only hear it when the before and after clips are side by side. I think a lot also hangs on the speaker you output it to also.

Ok, so am I the only one that instinctively tried to blow the smoke out of the way? Great job Marco, I will be doing this mod to my mv50 ac and mv50 Brian May on monday when I've got the soldering iron out to build a pile of treble boosters and fit new pickups to one of my guitars.

It's very subtle but it's definitely got a little more oomph to it in fat mode. I think I'll do this when I get time.

You can run it to a switch, on the floor, to a mini switch on the casing, or both.
