My dad was a Marine like my Grandfather and Uncles in WW2. Dad came home in 1968 for my birth then gone mom told me! Thank you ABBA! I LEFT 25 YEARS LATER AFTER HIGH SCHOOL! MOM SAID MY DAD WEPT! It barely made it in the US charts. ABBA had only two short appearances in the US- Douglas and Dick Clark in late '74. ABBA hit the US pop scene in 1975. Saigon fell in April 1975. US combat troops were previously pulled out in 1973.
These guys got it down! ABBA should be proud! The girls are sexy, the voices are great, the music is so tight and the crowd is into it. That’s the way it shoulda be.
With good management this group if they wanted could likely be very successful touring across countries , their sound and performance is pretty much spot on to the original ABBA.
This is a real good ABBA cover band. It's great to bring back their hits. TV and movies just brought them to the forefront again (ie: Momma Mia, The Martian, Eurovision). Classics never go away, that's why they are called "classic and timeless".
I was a 19 yrs old United States Marine back in 1974, when "Waterloo" was released. Loved it then and still love it today 😍. Semper Fidelis from an old Marine Sergeant.

I grew up in the 70s, and with bands like Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones and a few other top Rock bands it wasn't cool to listen to ABBA, but ABBA became really popular during the disco era in the late 70s.. If my friends caught me listening to ABBA they would rag me..lol They really were an awesome band.. And the blonde Agnetha, What a babe!
Best record world wide and ABBA is making history with best album of the year. They been nominated to receive an music award 🥇. First time ever. And they were just having fun in the studio 🤗. They sound bloody good! Very difficult to replicate the amazing ABBA vocals, sounds like they have the background vocals pre recorded, I can’t see any other vocalists on stage apart from the 2 of them. Shame we didn’t get a front view of the girls, would have been good if the recording was better.
