  • Dallas Fire Rescue Responding To a Water Rescue.
(Side Note) Everything is either common knowledge or what I heard on the radio.
So if I’m correct, Engine 41 & Engine 20 were dispatched to a possible jumper call with PD. Somewhere between when they got on scene to 10 minutes later, the patient jumped into a creek & the call was quickly upgraded to a Water Rescue.
I’m Very Sorry For The Gentleman That Jumped In The Way Of My Shot With Swift Water 59. He Likes The Cool Trucks Too With The Flashy Lights.

    Engine 32
    Engine 41
    Engine 56
    Truck 56

Nice Catch! I respect that you stay a distance away from the actual scene to give privacy to the patient, many buffers get to close and record the patient. Nice job!

Yes, I don’t know why a lot of buffers do that because to me it’s disrespectful and actually against the law to film patients especially if you’re posting them on social media. Thank You 😊

@@determinedfirefighter9225 Precisely, and from the distance you had you were still able to record all the apparatus lined up and a quick glimpse of the firefighters jumping over the barrier to rush down with all there gear. No problem!

Wasn’t a BC. That’s boat 56. She’s used to tow the boat & trailer to the scene. My guess on why they didn’t have the boat with them is because they aren’t currently housed at their station right now until they get their station fixed

What a rare catch with the old school suburban on Boat 56 love it. Who is the cock blocker trying to fuck up your response vehicle

Use trailer vision with great suburban as general response team unit division 7 code 4 in dividing reenactment side code 4⃣ flanking unit call maybe for backup possible rape

so all those resources for just one person, 1 i call that overkill and 2 what a waist of tax payers money didn't need that many vehicles

That’s your opinion all I would say is this, You Should look at Dallas SOPs on all calls & it’s call Man Power. Get things done quickly, efficiently, & safely that way

Water rescues are very dangerous and things can change in an instant. Someone is under water or struggling to stay afloat it is better to have too many resources then too few and have to wait for the additional resources to respond. Most of those water rescue units that responded that wasn't a short trek for them they came some distance to get there, so it is better to start them early than wait and see, and while you're going on about taxpayer money 1. taxpayers aren't charged every time the fire department gets a call or a certain rig gets a call if that was the case everyone would be broke as shit taxpayers help pay for the salary of their cities first responders and 2. Those water rescues are not staffed they usually take the truck company out of service to staff those water rescues and if they have to they take the engine out of service so there is no additional firefighters being paid waiting for a call (those water rescues don't run that often) and do me a favor take a step back and think "what if that was my loved on needing help? would I want the same show of force?" cause if that was me or one of my loved ones I would. So think before you sit behind your keyboard and post some nonsense. Thanks and have a great day!

Right ,send in a few guys and equipment..and when those resources are tired or need assistance than what? Common sense is few and thin..

I Agree! Knowledge is Power. The Fire Adminstrations throughout the USA have statistics that prove these facts, that to start the needed equipment to the location as they can always be disregarded to return and possibly pick-up other calls to always be ready to help the citizens they protect.@@cdocker3070
