Danny and Bush, I agree with you both on your Troy Franklin take. Sean Payton traded his 4th, 5th and 6th round picks to move up to 4.02 in the draft just so he could take Franklin because he saw so much more of him than any other WR while he was scouting Bo Nix. Fantasy managers should remember that it was Sean Payton who took a smallish QB with a pop gun arm from Purdue (Drew Brees) while he coached in New Orleans and turned him into one of the top QB's in the game. He also took a slowish, middling second round wide receiver from Ohio State (Michael Thomas) and turned him into the best WR in the game for a time. If anyone can do it, Sean Payton has pulled this off before.
His comment regarding Troy Franklin, “We see him as an outside ‘Z,’” Payton said of Franklin’s position after the draft. “He has really good speed. He is a guy we were really impressed with at the line of scrimmage. We also had the combine and even at Bo [Nix]’s private workout he was there. WE PROBABLY HAD A LITTLE BIT MORE EXPOSURE [TO HIM]".
All great points Dave, definitely made note of those comments as a Z as well, only real challenge for him is beating out Josh Reynolds for that role

In my dynasty league Polk fell to 3.08 might have fallen further but I had to trade up for him
Just picked up an orphan rebuilder team that has Maye and Polk (1:30) and Tracy (20:52). Been working a bunch of trades this week to restock 2025 picks via Jacobs (two mid 2nds and Jaleel), Amari (early 2nd), Gus (early 3rd and Bigsby), Carr (early 3rd and a 5th)… Also have Pollard and Mike Williams on the block… Gonna be fun!

I stacked Aaron Jones w Ty Chandler in my dynasty startup and feel really good.
Chandler has had 1 good game his entire career is why his ADP is where it is
Sure but he was efficient and actually had a solid string of performances even outside of the one blowup week. Not to mention- Jones is old, on a 1 year contract, and has missed consistent time.
It was pretty obvious how explosive Chandler was last season with the ball in his hands, If Jones goes down, Chandler will be a high end RB2 until Jones is back. There run blocking was abosulty terrible last season, I expect that to be better this year. Yeah Chandler is a great zero RB target or a late round stash
10 team dynasty superflex ppr. In my rookie draft I was able to get brooks (2.01), polk (2.07), franklin (2.10), penix (3.05), vidal (4.06), coker (4.07). Def tryna target a couple of guys post draft but lmk how I did 🫡
Good stuff! I don’t think most people realize how good Tucker Kraft was. Was a bull with the ball in his hands. That seam route catch against the Giants. Get out of his damn way. Excited to see what he can do this year.

100% with you on Dobbins. Just traded him, 2.07, and 3.03 in an 8 team 1 QB for Etienne, and then the guy dropped Dobbins literally 2 weeks later and so I just picked him up again😂😂 and I have Vidal to boot

When it’s happening for 15th round + opportunity costs- it doesn’t have to be the probable scenario. Obviously they’re an outlier- but the point is when the market is overconfident in a situation being bad- taking stabs at it offers elite upside

I drafted a ton of Dell and Nico too, super pissed I was just taking them as one offs
@@FantasyStockExchange I literally stacked Dell and Nico as much as I could last year in 7 different leagues. The only reason I only drafted CJ once and that was in dynasty, was because I am what they would classify as an early quarterback drafter, because on those 6 other teams without Stroud. I drafted only 3 quarterbacks last year. Which was Allen, Hurts, and Lamar.
Kraft tore his pec, he’s “supposed” to be back for camp. That’s not a great injury for a TE.

If Aaron jones stays healthy the touches won’t even be close…. At all.
Considering Jones- on the team that drafted him with an inferior RB behind him- never got a true workhorse role, i think it’s very plausible it’s more of a 55-45 or 60-40 than your comment implies

Rookie QBs historically are statistically not good fantasy picks. Let alone the 3rd best this year.
And he’s not starting for at least 4 games.
So counter point - 1) Neither of us are Pats fans, not really homers then 2) Name one fantasy pick going round 17/18 that will absolutely hit, it's all about price for Maye 3) He can run and people forget that

I think a QB with the same 2024 arch but a higher ceiling and probably a later ADP is Sam Howell. Last year he hit top 10 points. Geno has a history of getting hurt. The supporting cast is strong. Media says Seattle coaches love Howell.
Maye can run. But if the Pats start Maye, they are losing games. And they aren’t going to risk running Maye and having a catastrophic injury for their top 3 pick prospect just to lose games. They can’t be that dumb.

If Tucker Kraft is better than Luke Musgrave then why did Kraft only get two targets through the first eight weeks of the season. I hear people talking so much stuff about Kraft lately and I’m not saying he’s not good but I’m saying that he’s not going to be the starter…
Musgrave was drafted higher so he had the first crack at the job, once Kraft was in there he performed better than Musgrave
