lapis armor holds a special place in my heart i started on the 24th of july 2019 and it just blew my mind how crazy skyblock is in 2020 i left for a year then rejoined and i got sad because i was being called terrible i love that it was there with me forever
And I felt that lapis armor was broken then. 200% xp orbs when everything else in the game is like a 10% step upgrade? Bruhhh..
And then xp didn't really become too important as xp bottles got more common, then buyable from the bazaar and then enchanting update.
Edit: they finally added some better xp orb armor in the nether update, also applying to combat
Heavily relatable. The lapis amour grind was somehow the most memorable part of my very short skyblock career. It just doesn’t feel like the same game.

The real best armor is the "Armor of The Stars" it gives like +50k health and +35k defense and lots of intelligence but its admin only.

I remember 2018 when everyone wanted lapis, and nobody realized how easy it was to get hardened diamond if you just used talismans and got enough diamonds for a minion. Also fairy souls were never talked about, even though they still give the most extra stats out of everything in the game.
But skyblock came out in 2019??..?

@@rulas1122 there was a guide on forums, but no one really cared to find all of them until like 6 months later when they realized how good the stat buffs were. Now they are pretty good, but you get less stats from the xp.

Mushroom armor is pretty good for bingo for skipping lapis armor and glacite to skip directly to the end or do the campfiire quest. It deserves a better rating.

@Dimid Do you play Ironman? Because I'm assuming not. On standard profiles anything that isn't S tier isn't worth your time. Mushroom armor provides a jump in progression that no other armor set can provide. You jump straight from nothing, to Ender armor. Go ahead and try to play a Bingo profile without mushroom armor. It literally cripples your progression drastically
I’m late but mushroom armor is probably one of the best sets before getting to either ender armor or glacite on ironman

Also Skeleton Master armor is better than unstable in both crit damage and crit chance. The only downside is the lack of hp, but this can be easily combated using zombie knight chestplate. Definitely get this when you start out, considering it's only about 120k for the whole set.

And the best thing is, Is that frozen blaze won’t get nerfed after the nether update ! And it’s amazing with perfect jaspers and hot potato books as the blaze pet buffs those too!

yes i remember the lapis armor grind i was right there at the start of skyblock i started my first quests (like the talk to villagers in hub one) in year 1 lol
I remember using miners outfit in late 2019 to early 2020 and everyone was using it in the coal mines for cobble
Mithril coat is super op if you have a friend who can do t4 ender slayers. Just get an ornate zomb sword and You’ll never die

Also also, Skeleton Master is good for Archers because of their abilities, namely the extra arrow damage. Skeletor is also good for Archers that have trouble surviving.
Yup, and even outside of dungeons SM has some great stats, even dealing more damage with Void Sword than Ender Armor can with the same, presuming you are using full end equipment

imo lapis armor isn't as bad
sometimes i use it instead of divan armor when i'm close to lvl 350 and i don't want to waste money on titanic bottles, simply it makes a crap ton of xp when mining mithril (and you still get mining xp)
mastiff armor as also kinda broken, somehow i deal more damage with it than with livid dagger and necron, even though the price is literally 5x lower for that setup
the lapis armor is now useless the light tunic set in the crimson isle is better than lapis for that
@@The_Lute777 still a budget option, getting that other armor takes quite a bit of merging atoms and quite a lot of mycleium (which is expensive af)

Adaptive armor is actually quite easy to get on iron man now that it is easy to get money from end nodes as early as combat twelve. I have two pieces and it is doing very well. I understand why you wouldn’t use it on a regular profile but I think if this tier list is updated it deserves this mention
Eh, even then the easier to get class-specific armor sets dropped from enemies tend to do better from my testing, so it really just has the niche of working for the classes that don’t have a class-specific armor set until you get dungeonized dragon armor.
2 reasons to use Mastiff armor: you like playing tank or you're trying to survive campfire trials
Suprisingly good damage with shaman sword(dirt cheap)/pooch sword (5m+ unnecessary upgrade). Ability gives damage based on your max health which doesn't get better with pooch sword. With that setup, each point of crit damage is effectively 0.5, BUT also granting +1 weapon damage and +50 health. 50k health = 100+1000 base damage, though halved cd. Literally like a giant sword outside of dungeons. It is slightly weaker in potential now that nether update made new accessory stats weaker but nonetheless, good for it's price

good skeleton master armor actually deals more damage than ender armor outside (good ones even inside) the end, its also cost like 5k more than ender armor per piece which makes skeleton master is better than ender armor early game. though its lacking on crit chance, so you need a crit/god potion to patch it up
did noone actually noticed skeleton master has better stats than maxor for archer dmg (good skele master ofc)

nope, max quality skeleton armor gives THE SAME crit damage as maxor, same arrow buffs as well (5% per piece). though its lacking on ehp since ehp on skele master is terrible, but it gives Crit Chance tho which maxor doesn't so maybe glass cannon terminator skele master meta ??

What texturepack do you use to make the drag armors so dark cause for me on furfsky reborn its way brighter and strong as an example is red for me

mineral armor does work on dwarven gold which makes gold farming insane fast like i use a refined tita pickaxe and make at least 5 egold blocks per hour with that setup, imagine having the t2 mithril drill with that armor (no1 uses mithril drill but it makes mithril and gold grinding much easier)

Mushroom armor is WAY better than u might think , cuz just with a full set with g5 and p5 it gives a lot of ehp during the night ( and u will only use it during the night / need it) , and reforges are also affected so u can get close to a rare / epic armor reforge . It can carry as ur first set when u start ur profile ( like i 5 mins u could have it ) , and u would just have to ench it to use it until glacite ( which is why its not too good either , cuz thats also pretty fast to obtain or to buy at the ah )

At the end of the video, you mention that the mithril minion is very slow, and I have to guess that it is because it can be used on your island to grind powder off of public islands?
I was one of the few people who played skyblock when dragon armor was good, but I remember how generous people where back in the day. I got scammed for my lapis helm and yet some generous guy came and helped me out.

@@The_Lute777 Those armors have combat slots that can hold ruby, amethyst jasper and sapphire. Offensive slots can only fit jasper and sapphire

bat person armor genuinely is good i tried once without the batperson armor and once with batperson and the diffrence was quite big. without armor i got 2353 and with armor i got 3833

only mushroom, you can get mushroom without even touching farm armor and its better
Farm armor is kinda dumb. Farm suit isn't. Farm suit is like vanilla diamond armor but in 30 seconds. Farm armor would take 1-2h for new player, less if you have a rank to lobby hop and get some speed. But then there's auction house. You can buy like a glacite set for under 30 minutes of farming for coins. Normal profile hyperearly game has gotten a bit dumb
I just started an ironman playthrough and I really wish that they buff adaptive armor. Theres almost no middle ground for an actual dungeons mage set besides wise dragon armor which is terrible to get on ironman and requires cata 18 to use. If adaptive armor could just be buffed so that the ability is actually good and it acts as a good dungeons set but bad outside of dungeons, that'd be very very nice.

To any ironman tanks, adaptive is actually better than super heavy, you may still want a revived heart/Rev mask and a t12 perfect chestplate for f6 tho(don't forget to have a leg whale)
