Catching MAYAN CICHLIDS on the PEACE RIVER!!!

We went North on the Peace River from Lettuce Lake Boat Ramp to Hancock Lake (Iron Lake) to do some bluegill fishing and came across a mess of Mayan Cichlids. Our bait of choice was Red Wiggler Worms from Walmart and they completely loved them. As soon as the bait hit the water we had a fish! It was great spending the day on the water with my dad catching fish and enjoying the beautiful views Peace River has to offer. myfwc.com/wildlifehabitats/pr...

Stupid question....is the peace river brackish or fresh?

No question is stupid💪 I’m going to say that the further south you go the saltier it gets. Tide stops between Nocatee and Fort Ogden.
