It's really nice to see the respect between two generations of stalkers. Peter whom I presume was taught exceedingly well from Andrew in not only knowledge and skill, but composure, practice and teaching ability. Thank you for the upload, I learnt more than positioning here.

I know this is a very old video, but this is something I have been looking for. Pretty much just got into rifle shooting. Mainly bird hunting and started big game archery about 7 years ago.
I have been trying to figure out shooting off the tripod. This will help.
I live in the southeast portion of Colorado (non-mountainous half of the state.
This video needs to be in our hunter safety program.
    Thank You.

I’m in America. How can I find a Quad Pod type shooting stick here? Very difficult to find to purchase for a reasonable price.

They call it the quadpod, its not a product name but from doing some research I think it's the following:
      www.johnsonbrown.co.uk/gun-accessories-c34/hammond-quad-pod-rifle-sticks-p98
I can't tell if it has the 10cm of horizontal travel but I'd bet they'll be one on display at a gamefair somewhere next summer, I'll be keeping my eye out for one for sure.

If you want to be an effective rifle hunter in the woods you have to learn how to shoot like a hunter. Forget about sticks and other rattling shit. Find a balance between shotgun and rifle shooting. Only rifle shooting in open areas makes you slow and clumsy. Bird hunting teaches you a lot about hand-eye coordination. Use a rifle with a good trigger and low lock time.
