I dislike HP for the fact that I am yet to find a HP laptop that lets you upgrade ANYTHING. I had the Elitebook 840 years ago and it couldn't even upgrade storage, it had eMMC storage soldered on with no way to add an SSD, the RAM was soldered in, the CPU was soldered in. While my Dell Latitude before it lets you upgrade the RAM, storage and even the CPU with other mobile 2/3gen i3/5/7 CPUs. The real kicker was that the Latitude cost £250 less than the HP Elitebook and about the same as the HP Stream my mother bought which was the same, but worse because it was running a Celeron on 2GB of soldered RAM.
I literally tried but they doesn't allow single user upload segment over 80 percent of the whole video, so I created segment contain entire first half, somebody do the second half
I have the 15 inch version and it's a great laptop. A little flex in the screen and the cord in the back tends to fall out but other than that I haven't found any other issues. I may just have a bad plug. I have the i9 with a RTX 4070 and 32 gig of ram. I now wonder if that HyperX headphone will work with mine because I hate dongles. Anyone know?
I love overall design including the unique keyboard keycaps. The keycaps looks like classic laptop keycaps which looks fantastic on modern hardware like this.
to the hp team, the moment i hear the cooling was designed by intel too and the fact that it has intel and nvidia in it, thats the moment the vid god boring for me, would love to see a full amd version of this, ryzen and rx gpu, sadly there are not that mutch of them out there, i guess my next laptop will not be an hp one
I personally prefer the G14. More powerful than the Transcend and close enough to the Razer while not exactly any bigger, great build quality, comes with OLED screen unlike the Razer and has GSync+ MUX switch/Advanced Optimus. Also best speakers of all 3
G14 and it’s not even close. I have last year’s version which is usually priced very competitively with a Ryzen 9 and 4060. The refresh I’ve heard nothing but good things about, but it’s undoubtedly going to be a bit pricier.
It would be nice If you could compare it to the competition like the Asus G14, it looks nice in paper but what about side to side with the competition?
I have an omen 16 with amd components. It has 16gb of ddr5 ram, 144 hz refresh rate screen, and 1 tb of storage. Forgot what the specific cpu and gpu are but they’re ok. All my friends have desktops and I can still play rainbow , forza , black ops3 , and other games with them with no problems. I try and stay away from newer cod games cuz my fans are maxed out at all times when playing.
Cant stress to people enough how bad HP laptops are they break pretty easily. Then also take a look at trust pilot and see HP customer service have 1.2 stars. This is because they won't help you if something breaks.
With next gen cpus from Intel AMD and nvidia and new ai accelerators on the upcoming motherboards and new gpu’s from AMD nvidia and intel why would anyone buy e-waste at this point?
See I tried at least five "gaming laptops" and ended up returning them all because sure they are great for like the first five minutes but then they start heating up like crazy taking out the lap part of the name. And then of course they start going downhill on performance as they warm up. I even tried some nice underneath fans for them and using the keyboard I would feel like I'm touching almost. I will stick with my desktops.
The weight and size is cool. The $500 premium over a very comprable Lenovo doesn't make sense to me. The Lenovo is just an LCD but it is a 240hz. So a Thunderbolt and OLED = $500?
