- In this video, I show how to sample audio from my Korg Kronos, into the audio track, the sampler, and the looper of the MPC X Special Edition.
I played a simple keyboard part as a reference, to show how recording 🎧 into the MPC X SE work.
Let me know what you would like to see next with the MPC X SE🎯

So this will help me a lot with recording mutiple parts with prologue being 1ch board
That’s wassup. Nice board you have, I’m a fan of @korg also! Glad to know this video could help. I’m working on more videos for sure. Thanks for watching🎯
this will help i just wish it wasnt so many steps to do but as long as i have your video i will be able to get it done thanks so much also do u think mpcx has to be run thru a big mixer to be mastered can u just mix it down from mpc itself??
Well… the MPC X come with some mix tools. I think it all depends on what you are going for and how well you can make those internal mix tools sound. I do basic mixes inside the MPC X SE all the time, but if I wanna go commercial I’ll go there big boy route 🎯
I have an MPC X . I’m trying to figure out what the sample rate (kHz) for the 24 bit depth. I’ve googled that it’s 44.1 kHz in standalone, but I would feel a lot more comfortable if I could view that within the MPC to confirm that that’s true. I’ve only found a window where I can change from 16 bit to 24 bit, and no kHz information is displayed. In controller mode, you’re supposed to have multiple options for the kHz settings. I can only (my preference) record audio in standalone. So I need to make sure the kHz setting for my guitar is correctly matched to the mpcx. Basically, I’m just trying to figure out how I can get into the MPC X, and see those options for myself before recording. Where can I see it displayed? I’m really only looking for confirmation that I’m doing it correctly. Any info is appreciated!
That’s interesting because I don’t remember seeing anything like that either. I wanna say when using the software you should be able to see and change those settings but not sure in standalone which should be available to us‼️
Amazing🙏🏽 and it’s all the same for the original Mpc X i supposed, is it…? 🫣 cheers man
Yep it’s the same‼️
