I can't help but also notice that a lot of "self-improvement" youtubers also push a hateful political agenda. Like, I can't go on youtube shorts without seeing one mocking genderqueer persons. I'm all for the bettering of a person, but improvement doesn't come from knocking others down. Worst of all, like you mentioned, most of these ideas are just concepts that people stole from other content creators, meaning that people are spitting out beliefs which they haven't even thought twice about.
Exactly bro! And don't get me started on how self-improvement (redpill) youtubers love to hate on women and justify toxic behaviour like cheating. I'm all for masculinity, but masculinity at the expense of others ain't cool (same goes with feminism at the expense of men).
