Thanks!! Those are from Disney World (we are Disney fanatics if you haven’t been able to tell.) They are resort mugs and you basically carry them around the resort and can refill them whenever you want! We try not to be dorky but we normally fail haha.
Oh my gosh...so many hysterical moments. The wife and I love fox in the forest. We also bought the duet (coop) version, but enjoy this one way more. One of my new favorite games at the moment is the crew...I think it will be a new house rule if we fail a mission in the crew, everyone has to eat a bean. Also, I have to call Jamie out...if you have to eat a bean...eat it...that nibbling stuff is buhhhloney...Commit dammit!! :)

Years ago we played the beanboozel challenge. Everyone took the same color bean and you had to chew and swallow it or put $1 in the pot if you spit it out. The person who spit out the least won the pot. I made it close to the end not spitting out any of the flavors, until SKUNK SPRAY!

We did! Well, Jamie did - I made odd cameo appearances. It is called “ermahgerd berks” (inside joke). And was a channel dedicated to books, shenanigans, and book reviews! We were pretty avid readers at the time!
I have (I think) zero experience with trick taking games. For a noob is this a good 2 player specific starting place for the genre? Like I watch your play-through and it seems like a comedy sketch where everything is made up as you go. (Numberwang anyone?)
Hmm that is a great question! Kind of depends what you are looking for. Fox in the forest is not at all difficult and I would think would be a great start. While we are full of shenanigans, all the actions we took are outlined on the cards (just hard to see the text). Some cards in fox in the forest allow you to do “a thing”. Ex: 11’s force the other player to play a certain type of card if they have it. We really enjoy it, but it’s obviously a competitive game. If you prefer more cooperative games, fox in the forest: Duet (we haven’t played this yet) turns fox in the forest into a cooperative adventure! Also, The Crew is a hot ticket right now, cooperative trick taking where you have a bunch of “missions” you need to complete in order to win (50 of them I think?) Look in to them! Any questions feel free to shot them our way!
Fun episode, my kids and I got a good chuckle watching it. Fox in the Forest is on my shelf of shame. I got it a couple of months ago and have yet to try it. This may be the reason we finally give it a whirl. I might get regular Jelly Bellies....just thinking about some of the flavor's you had make me feel sick.🤢

What happens if you play two special ability cards? And what's the advantage of playing the three card to change suit?
