The PS3 was an important console for me growing up. I had the original Playstation, launch PS2, and the launch PS3 with PS2 backwards compatibility. I had that thing through the big PSN outage until it got the YLOD in 2013. I always thought it was a great console for a kid that didn't consume much video game media apart from the occasional Game Informer. Even though XBox had their Achievements longer than the Playstation, I thought that addition really gave games that extra motivation to essentially 100% the game.
I am always thinking about the games from 2013 and how awesome it would have been if they just released them on PS4. then we all could have played sly 4 motorstorm and playstation all stars until today
@@bigbellysmackerc6278 i also played more 4 and 5 but 3 has better and more creative games. modern gaming is just online games and uncreative stuff like god of war horizon and fortnite

Puppeteer is one of the best games I’ve ever played.
Into the Nexus was such a nice ending to the Future series.
Agreed, since the next game is targeted for 2029 hopefully a remaster of the Future series is being considered for the 25th anniversary.

I remember I had a PS3 and never really played it. Played uncharted and some of the last of us but the PS3 was basically a dust collector on a shelf.
