My question is about the shocks? How's it performing ? My guess you have the standard not the heavy duty
DJPippeLondono did you use the complete short shots kit, or just the sleves. and did you dyno tune it at a dealership or with a home tuner. seriously thats a nice sound. HD goals!

Nice ride brother...great sound. I have a Heritage Springer with stock true duals which is a different sound but i got use to it.
PROBABLY THE BEST HARLEY SETUP IVE EVER SEEN! I would make my Harley look exactly like this.

I do love your Street Bob man. If I owned one I would do almost the same modifications. Forward controls are nice and good idea for the plate.

You are right, most are wannabes, not real bikers, cause we have also been on the side of the road and a fellow biker always helps out. I have done it for others, too. I live in Texas, still a wild frontier in many lonely stretches of open road, so, a helpful friend is always appreciated. You get what you give.

i have a 2009 nighster with Vance Hines I love the sound the Street Bob is in the near future blacked out with Vance Hines can't beat them

Hi There both. Thanks yes I have had it for about 3 weeks now and really like it. it's the biggest bike I've had (I had a Harley 48 before) so I think it will take some getting used to, also I am quite tall so the mid controls are slightly small for me so I have ordered some highway pegs

Like the look and sound! After a year of running my bike with V&H Straight Shots I had to get the quiet baffles. Picking up my Street Bob later this week and will be slowly make some modes over the winter. Thanks for the ideas and suggestions.
I love how it sounds, time will only tell if I have to get quiet baffles since I'm a DJ and already have hearing problems.. Lol

beautiful i have the 2015 street bob also in vivid black was having doubts at first being a small guy but now i have no regrets also got the same v&h installed before she left the dealership sure beats my old sportster

And yeah, have ordered the same pipes (short shots). Dunno how many times I watched your vid from about 3:45 onwards, but it was a lot. Yes, I live in our famed Texas hill country and bikers from all over the country come to ride our famed 3 sisters, roads, some of the best twisties, anywhere....even seasoned bikers have to respect the roads here........and we still have more deer than people so, that is what you have to watch out for here, too.......but, it's great riding and living free.......

DJPippeLondono, when I went to look for my first Harley a couple years ago I was looking at Street Bob but then I came across an 09 Crossbones and I couldn't pass it up so I went with that instead. The Street Bob is still an awesome bike and would consider getting one if I got a second Harley. Take care, safe riding!

What a great video. I really enjoyed the Clear video quality. Along with that the bike sounds fantastic with the V&H Short Shots. Some very clean modifications. Imho Subtle mods with function over beauty wins out every time. You must be a proud father for sure. Enjoy it brother. tcrs

dude those pipes have that thing sounding SUPER deep, took out a lot of that high pitched "clap" sound you get, I kinda like that too tho. Aweosme man, a cop would give ya a nose ticket for that around here in no time... I have just some screamin eagle slip ons, they upped the sound a fair bit but thats naaasty.
I'de love to know what RPM it idles at since you got that drop in gauge. Sounds like its around 1200 revs

Oh man those bikes are so nice! I can't wait to get me a street bob. It'll be my first bike. I don't have much experience on motorcycles but have plenty on sports quads.. Atlaest the shifting will translate. Anybody have any suggestions on what year of street bobs are pretty good or what year to start with?

Very nice. Good to see folks in the ATL area getting some views on here. I'm digging those signal lights and the daymaker headlight. Are the signal lights available in a black housing w/ smoked lenses instead of the chrome?
+ImJustStephenth the lights come with no housing so you can get your own of the color you want.

Sounds superb. I'm running a 2009 FXDB with V&H Slip-ons--love the Vance and Hines. This is one of my top-two favorite Street Bob videos by the way. That bike sounds so sweet rippin' up the neighborhood! I gotta' ask, what size rear tire are you runnin? I guessing it's a 130mm Scorcher. Did it come stock with the bike? Have you guys considered sizing-up to a 160mm?
