Aside from new-agers and whatnot thinking they can be gods, there are even other mid-Acts teachers who insist that the body of Christ is "God manifest in the flesh" in 1 Tim 3:16 (some apply it to both us and Christ, and some even say it can ONLY be about us!), which I find perilously close to what those new-agers believe. Only Jesus Christ was God manifest in the flesh; what blasphemy it'd be if a Christian walked around calling himself "God manifest in the flesh"!

I can't imagine babylon cared a thing about 'sin/sinners' (Israel).
