China Motor Bus Volvo Ailsa B55 AL2 探訪中華巴士艾莎富豪B55 AL2

1981年，富豪提供了兩部3軸艾莎富豪B55於中華巴士公司（中巴）試用，車隊編號為AL1和AL2。這些巴士是世界上唯一的前置引擎12米巴士，亦為世界上僅有的三部的其中兩部。這些巴士可載170名乘客和能容納69個企位，是雙層巴士中最高的。另一個特徵是，其後軸有輔助轉向功能，此功能能減少轉向距離。由於缺乏零件，巴士都在1998年退役了AL2被購入用作巴士屋之用，後來轉為貨倉之用。此車原在禁區內，但此限制於2015年後期因應政府縮減禁區而向大眾開放，令我們的團隊能夠訪問在世界上僅存唯一一部的艾莎富豪十二米前置引擎巴士。
In 1981, Volvo supplied 2 3-axled B55’s for a trial by the China Motor Bus company (CMB) and were registered as AL1 and AL2. These buses were the only front-engined 12-meter buses in the world and 2 out of 3 of their kind. These buses could carry 170 passengers and could accommodate 69 standees, the highest among other double-deckers. Another feature of this bus was that its last axle could be steered in the opposite direction of the front axle to aid the turning of the bus. Due to the lack of spare parts, both buses were retired in 1998. AL2 was purchased to be used as a home in Sheung Shui, and was later converted to a storage shed. It is found on a small plot of restricted government land, but this restriction was lifted in late 2015. Thanks to this, our team was able to pay a visit to this special bus, the only one of its kind that is left in the world.

本人都喜歡巴士，尤其係中巴退役巴士，但本人睇到艾沙富豪變成唔完整嘅巴士，似有改裝和巴士上顏色己變得淺色，經常日曬雨淋，如果係巴士修藏者，應該好好保護架巴士，又或者可以將退役中巴運往外國，例如英國，歐洲，又或其他國家作為當地使用，現在本人睇到十分傷心難過。
