As an LFC fan, we have ourselves to blame today. We have been misfiring for a while now. We miss Jota. Given where we were last year and how this season went, I am glad Liverpool has a chance for the PL this year. Unless Arsenal goes further in the CLor have some critical injuries, I think they will win the PL. They have been the most consistent side this season and have been playing very well except around the Christmas period - the winter break was very well managed by Arteta.

My guy he has won pretty much every thing there is to win at Liverpool 7 trophies in 9 years 8 if you want to include the Community Shield, that's amazing and if it wasn't for 115 fc maybe Klopp could've won 2 more premier league titles making that 9 or 10 trophies in 9 years
Well, he has certainly brought us in from the desert, but he cannot start another dynasty ala Shankley or Paisley. One league title in 9 seasons isn’t good enough, two barely makes it acceptable.
All well and good to talk about the 115 charges. But we have known that for a few years now and it is what it is. Then the question becomes what he can do about it. This reminds me of Arsenal under Wenger - always challenging but always second fiddle.

Stevie is right about Arsenal. If they pull ahead, they will be susceptible to start protecting instead of just plowing ahead. They already showed how they will change their approach when they think they need to protect v. City (which was the right thing to do in that instance). Of the title contenders, they've been by far the most injured, yet they still are tied atop the table with Arsenal. If Arsenal and City were to just pull away from here and Liverpool were to finish 3rd, that wouldn't be a bottle job, that would just be Arsenal and City proving they are the stronger sides, which I believe they are.
Despite what happened today, Liverpool fans must remember, Liverpool are still in a fantastic position in the table. The league is still totally winnable.

Did anyone see for the first MANU goal Van Dijk didn’t even tried to move towards the ball ? He was as usual ready to run with the attacking threat rather than trying to tackle. If it was Saliba or Gabriel from Arsenal, no way Bruno would have got so much time and such a clean look at the goal. They would have tried to put body on the line or come to Bruno as close as possible to make him bit uncomfortable .I know their was nothing much any could have done but still Van Dijk should have tried.
Its tough, Bruno hit it 1st time, had he took a touch then Van Dijk probably would've done more.

Another very good game by United, err, I mean very entertaining game to watch. Didn't expect them to be able to (nearly) beat Liv again. It wasn't a 4-3 but man was it fun to watch. Respect for that performance and 2 very nice goals scored too. Liverpool much too wasteful in final third, maybe Nunez is a bit loco, he gives his all on pitch but passes or crosses when he needs to shoot and vice versa. Fasting Salah lost his scoring touch a bit too. Say what you will but Ten Haag's team has delivered 2 fantastic performances for neutral football fans in the loss to Chelsea few days ago and now this draw at home with Liverpool. And that is most of all what we football fans crave: that end-to-end action and tons of chances created and goals scored. So, thank you Liverpool, Man U, even Chelsea, and Newcastle (vs WHU) for providing us with some beautiful game action this season.

He was talking about the forwards alone. And he's right. None of them can finish. Nuñez has had more shots than any other player in the league this season - Luis Diaz is in the top 10. Nuñez has 11 goals and Diaz 8. That's _really_ bad. Salah has missed so many easy chances as well, as he always does. Their finishing is awful. They've scraped through the season because of it when they really should be out of sight and cruising to the title.

That's funny man. Honestly, really funny. I was practically born with a ball at my feet. Guys who wear 305 baseball caps did not kick a ball before they walked, or likely ever, until they watched some champions league match and decided they would be a fan of some team. When I watch a game of football, every touch I see, every cross, header, strike, pass, every movement off the ball, even the saves a keeper makes, are all perfectly imaginable from my past experience. He wasn't saying the team were off form - he was saying the forwards were, although there's a good argument that they just aren't good enough - Salah, for one, has always missed easy chances. I don't even like any of them. I just happened to see some of this match, including the Nuñez special, sending it to the corner flag when it was easier to score. When you make as many chances as Liverpool do, and did in this game, against this awful united side, they really should have won the game. As a Liverpool fan, I'm so gutted by our wastefulness. The front three failed us again. They've been shocking of recent. MacAlister has been covering them up in the past. Nunez and Diaz are not yet the Mane and Firminho that we thought they could be. We missed those two guys today. We also missed Jota, and I can't wait to welcome Jota back this weekend
Honestly, I think both TAA and Jota are huge. Macca is having to be both playmaker and goal scorer these past few games. Really missing Trent's passing and vision. Macca is the only front 6 that is passing well into the final third... and he has to score winning goals now too? Too much for him to do...

Salah has only played 499 minutes since injuring his hamstring with Egypt at AFCON. In those 499 minutes, he has 5 goals and 4 assists. That’s a G/A every 55 minutes. These pundits can criticize Salah all they want. The man generates goals like very few other players.
