I am a big fan of bluey and with almost all of season 3a, 3b AND 3c airing in worlwdie, I thought I would do a breakdown of every episode with a small review, some spoilers, and any bluey theories that might pop up. I think your right! I think she did have a IVF! which I love! because it shows a topic in Bluey where some people just cant have children! Which is what I love about Bluey. It never fails to show the difference in people!

I 100% agree with the IVF theory. Going off of that, I would love to see an episode about Brandy, a single new mom, meeting and getting together with a male dog and maybe her kinda hesitant about having a potential romantic relationship while it’s her first time as a brand new mom. That is, if she doesn’t already have someone that we don’t know about yet

My six year old piped right up "She's pregnant!" as soon as she spotted Brandy. I'm not sure if she truly understood what "Onesies" was about, but she knew to be super happy for Brandy.
I am an IVF child. I really hope that Brandy does not have a significant other because Brandy just reminds me so much of my mom.
My mom always wanted a nuclear family however never married. She had younger siblings who all had gotten married and had children and it made her feel left out much like Brandy.
I feel like taking her in the single mother through IVF direction will resonate with not only kids of donor IVF but also parents who went through that and make people aware that it is something that happens. I’ve always had to explain my conception to people unaware of the process and my mother had rude comments from family asking why she would subject herself to single motherhood.

I cried in this episode. Because when you think about it, it's heartbreaking to see bingo asking: is Leila coming?. And when chilli says no she runs to the sign and tries to pull it out "I can't do it" 😭❤

Going off the IVF theory, it could be twins. Twin girls, twin boys, a boy and girl. I think it'd be really fun if they did do twins.

I would like to point out, infertility and being sterile are separate issues.. Infertility does not mean you are incapable of getting pregnant, but it is significantly more difficult.. being sterile involved an incapability of getting pregnant. I do genuinely appreciate the concept of IVF for Brandi, as it still offers representation for those who deal with infertility, and gives a really good perspective that there is still hope. IVF is hard for a lot of people, especially since it doesn't always take.

My theory is actually quite similar to yours, supporting the fact that maybe it was her partner that meant she couldn't have kids:
This is SUPER unlikely, and I am hoping that the IVF theory with Brandy is going to be true and not that she has a boyfriend/partner. BUT WHAT IF BRANDY DOES HAVE A PARTNER - A FEMALE PARTNER??? These days, it's still pretty unlikely to show and LGBTQ+ characters that are actually canonically SHOWN in a relationship, but who knows, maybe Brandy ends up being different.
This would mean that obviously two cis female people (or in this case dogs) cannot have children together. So maybe this is why Chilli said 'It's not meant to be.' because biologically, people could argue that it's not.
This could mean that Brandy would still need a donor to HAVE a baby - so the IVF theory could still have a play in this!
So maybe, Brandy's female partner is on a Business trip and couldn't attend the wedding? Or maybe on idk, some sort of holiday but Brandy wanted to stay behind to see Brandy's wedding. Besides, her female partner would have known Brandy was already pregnant and would have gone off before she would actually have her baby but after she announced that she was pregnant (after all, logically, it takes 5 months to at least start to get a bump like Brandy has - so she'd know).
But unless it's a business trip, I don't understand why Brandy's 'partner' female or not, would decide to just leave her at the wedding alone, so I'm still rooting for single IVF Brandy (maybe even AroAce Brandy? xD).
@@canvas4708 Hmm yeah that is possible! but even though i know we are getting mixed breed couples, i don't think bluey is ready to be teaching kids about being lgbtq+ {sorry if i spelled it wrong!} but even so, i really don't think if brandy was in a relationship, her partner would have left her all alone even if it was her choice but i guess maybe work HAD to come first. good theory!!

I'm so excited! And I hope Brandy's baby is a boy! I think a little boy would be a great addition to the family! Bluey and Bingo already have Muffin and socks as cousins, they need a little boy! I think IVF is also how Brandy got pregnant!

Just an idea…maybe if the thing she wanted so badly was in fact the whole family life, maybe she was widowed really young and she was dealing with the grief of not only losing a partner but also the family she wanted with them. And then after Onesies, like you said, she became more open to another path and had a successful IVF experience with the support of her family.
That's a cool theory!
It's also a possibility that the dad has a job where he can't be with Brandy very often. Something similar to being away in the army, or even working on a fishing boat. Jobs do exist that can keep married couples away from each other for months, even years on end.

This episode was like an entire movie
Here are some easter egg type things I've found that aren't particularly obvious:
1. At 24:37 in the episode on iview when the scene switches back to the lookout place, you can see one of Bluey or Bingo's friends on a blanket on the grass with their brother/sister/twin lookalike
2. At 1:56 when the Bluey family car is on the road you can see Lila with her mum at a bus stop
3. At 2:46 when Calypso offers to read Bluey another story you can see part of the front cover for a book with a blue dog queen on it - maybe a reference to something?
4. At 4:16 you can see Winnie about to cross the road with her Dad when the Blue family car is driving back home.
5. At 9:32 when Chilli is looking for the booster seat in the boot you can see Chattermax and a longdog

Not necessarily. Infertility doesn’t mean that she completely unable to have children at all, just that her chances of pregnancy was extremely low. Plus it doesn’t mean she couldn’t adopt later on.

My theory is that Brandy was more that she's got herself a sperm doner plus just because you got fertility issues doesn't mean you can't get pregnant or impregnated anyone entirely it's just that it needs time to work..tho the version of Brandy I see that she could of been a Asexual single mom that she feels no desires in relationships but wanted kids of her genetics

@@joelbarraclough6689 Actually, Asexual people can still be interested in romantic relationships. Im ace myself and recently started a relationship. It would be more accurate to say that Brandi could be Aroace, aromantic and asexual.
Also, people who struggle with infertility can still get pregnant. Unless they're confirmed to be starile, like through a surgery for example, infertility doesn't always mean a 0% chance of getting pregnant. It's possible that Brandi has a very low fertility rate or has lost previous pregnancies.

@@joelbarraclough6689 No worries. Unfortunatly, some LGBT identities are less seen than others, aromatic being one of them. A lot of people assume that Asexual means no romantic or intimate relationship, when it really just means no intimate relationship. Aroace is short for aromantic and asexual which is no romantic or intimate relationship. It's a common misunderstanding so I try to correct it when possible.

The IVF theory is probably correct… but I have a friend who physically wasn’t able to have babies, she and her husband tried and tried for many years… then one year just before Christmas a miracle happened! She was pregnant and now she has a beautiful baby girl ❤

As a mum who’s gone through infertility 3x, two clomid and one ivf. Unsure how they’d show in a kids show she had fertility treatment but I feel seen. I hope it’s just her partner couldn’t attend wedding for whatever reason.

I really really wish that instead of her becoming pregnant, they kept the message of her representing those that can't give birth to children and instead had her foster a little boy, eventually leading to adopting. To show that even if you can't have your own children, you can still become a parent and love someone who needs it.

IVF archives this message too. And she was never sterile. She had infertility issues. Meaning she could possibly have kids, it's just very very very unlikely. I would have loved for them to do an adoption storyline with her, but this works just as well as what you said.
I was happy but grieved the loss of representation
That would have been great if Brandy had ever shown any signs of wanting to Foster or adopt. From "Onsies" though I got the idea that Brandy really wanted to carry and give birth to a biological child. If that is what her heart was set on then IVF was the right choice for for her in her insistent. Adoption is a wonderful thing, but it is a big step and a long and potentially difficult process (Same for IVF). In both cases the person needs to be absolutely sure this is what they want. In one the child /bio parents also need to be. Maybe Brandy picked IVF because then she would either get pregnant or not. Meanwhile Fostering is often temporary, and ends once relatives of the child's get to a place to be suitable guardians. Bluey's friend Winstons has divorced parents and his dad dates other single parents. So we might see some no bio family building there.
Maybe later in the show Bluey and Bingo can make friends with a child who is shown to be a different breed than their parents, implying a foster/adoption situation. Or maybe since Rad and Frisky are now married they might decide pregnacy is not for them and choose to adopt. It is great that this show is inclusive to such a variety of topics.

Ok, I'm NOT going to lie, I cried watching this ep at the end, Seeing Bandit throwing out the sign made me so happy that they weren't moving and Bingo still getting to see her best friend. (Same with Bluey getting to still see all of her friends). My mom even said it was a great episode! (Which it was). I really loved this episode, it's probably my favorite from season 3. (Especially the part where Rad was like "We have an announcement" and then Nana got excited and then Rad was like "No, mum, not that"🤣)

I love that it stays ambiguous - maybe she had fertility issues, maybe she never met someone to have a family with? And as she got older, she gave up on it ever happening for her. But reconnecting with Chili gave her the encouragement she needed to go for it and get IVF to become a solo mother. I love that for her honestly.
Honestly, until otherwise proven, I love the idea of her being a lesbian/ single mom by choice, simply just cause A. She has fertility issues like me, B. Love the idea of introducing different family types, just like how they have been with queer nuclear families, blended families, single families where they explore how the other parent simply isn’t invested and that’s why they’re not around (Libby from The Ghost and Molly McGee), so honestly, I like to think this is logically a next step in different family representation. “Auntie Brandy doesn’t have a true love right now, she’s having the baby by herself with the help of medicine”.
And honestly, I think it has some merit. Her having a hard time around a traditional family unit, seeing as she may have wanted the whole package like you said with her hardship being around the Heelers, is real. Being a lesbian with fertility issues, it makes accomplishing a family sometimes feel impossible, and dreaming about it ridiculous, and sometimes embarrassing having to imagine going in alone, since everything about a family is pushed in that nuclear idea. Seeing her though having her miracle baby makes me so happy, and a little more relaxed for my future. I can’t wait to see them, and am gonna call the baby Biscuits until its born. Another B for the family 😭.

In australia, they allow LGBT in their shows, but it doubtful since it would restrict profit. Disney only puts LGBT in movies as a way to make money and usually removes it for countries like China. If they do add it, just know it will definitely be censored in most countries. Because of that, they most likely not add it since if that's the case, it will be a major plot point, and those episodes will be completely censored. Islamic based countries and communist countries are the ones who would censor those episodes. And even some African countries. It would be extremely risking since it's also a children show. So you know those countries would especially censored it.

I watched The Sign episode and I started crying that was probably the 1st episode I've act shed multiple tears usually my eyes just water, and only one tear but this time it really got me. I'm a teen I love bluey. It makes me happy, and joyful and my parents have been talking about moving for idk a couple of years now (like 2-3) and I really felt like I connected with this episode. I'm also VERY excited to see Brandy's baby I'm happy the creators decided to give her that. I love frisky and rad! They were so wholesome cute and loving! I'm very excited to see more frisky and rad, AND Brandy's baby!! ❤️
Random theory. What if the dad is the DJ? He was there early, so she came alone later, and since he was the DJ, he was busy through the wedding and couldn’t be with her. I still agree with IVF, but I find the idea of her craving the nuclear family to edge out the theory of her being a single mom.

I kind of wish Brandy didn't get pregnant. I was hoping they would have Brandy do adoption because we've never seen an adopted children family and/or single parent. I know a couple who cannot have children so they adopted 2 little boys and are very happy.
Still happy that Brandy is having a child. It's nice she is getting what she wants.
My theory is that she was thinking about adopting but then she must have heard of or have been suggested by her doctor to have an IVF probably she really wanted to have her own baby more than adopting one because it's her baby it was someone elses so she took a big risk and in the end it paid off and we'll see what happens next in a near future.

Just watched the last Bluey episode the Sign. I won’t spoil it for all but I cried. Reminds me of when my parents sold our childhood house last summer, everyone was ok with it except me and I remember when my mom told me the house was bought, I just cried in her arms and said « I am losing all of my marks and you don’t even give me enough time to build new ones. How can I be ok ? » this episode really hit me in the heart.

Tbh I don't really like that Brandy is pregnant. Look, I know that there are people who are infertile and then wind up having children, but that really I personally think disses on people who ARE permanently unable to have kids. It's like, whelp, your problems are nonexistent. And I really don't like that-the whole Onesies episode, which was such a tear-jerker for me, seems like just a filler episode. IVF Is cool, but I would've much much rather have seen her adopt a kid.

The IVF theory does seem more logical but I doubt that Bluey would have something like that concept in Bluey. I think if we do see Brandy again and they talk about her pregnancy more, they would simply introduce a husband, like how they have made up excuses in the past to fill gaps in the story and stop the rumors and theories.
I feel it's IVF. Something I would be interested in, is what if Brandy is a lesbian? I like the theory what she wanted was a family with a dad, kids, and a suburban home life, maybe she's not attracted to men and that is why she couldn't have kids. It could be both, she wanted to settle down with her partner (male or female) before attempting IVF but decided to go for it anyway. But perhaps she is in a relationship with a woman and Ludo Studios was apprehensive because Bluey is a beloved international show and depicts a main character as a member of the LGBT community would have caused the big 28-minute episode to be banned or heavily censored. Just an idea that came to mind since Bluey tries to represent everyone in some way like in Turtle Boy or how Jack and Winton are neurodivergent.

This is SUPER unlikely, and I am hoping that the IVF theory with Brandy is going to be true and not that she has a boyfriend/partner. *BUT WHAT IF BRANDY DOES HAVE A PARTNER - A FEMALE PARTNER???* These days, it's still pretty unlikely to show and LGBTQ+ characters that are actually canonically SHOWN in a relationship, but who knows, maybe Brandy ends up being different.
This would mean that obviously two cis female people (or in this case dogs) cannot have children together. So maybe this is why Chilli said 'It's not meant to be.' because biologically, people could argue that it's not.
This could mean that Brandy would still need a donor to HAVE a baby - so the IVF theory could still have a play in this!
So maybe, Brandy's female partner is on a Business trip and couldn't attend the wedding? Or maybe on idk, some sort of holiday but Brandy wanted to stay behind to see Brandy's wedding. Besides, her female partner would have known Brandy was already pregnant and would have gone off before she would actually have her baby but after she announced that she was pregnant (after all, logically, it takes 5 months to at least start to get a bump like Brandy has - so she'd know).
But unless it's a business trip, I don't understand why Brandy's 'partner' female or not, would decide to just leave her at the wedding alone, so I'm still rooting for single IVF Brandy (maybe even AroAce Brandy? xD).
I know this might sound weird but instead of having fertility problems maybe she just couldn’t find the right person to have a family with at that time and she got tired of waiting for someone and decided just to get one on her own so she didn’t have to wait on the right person

I think that the Dad was a donor from IVF but I just wonder if the baby is from Brandy’s egg. There was a real emphasis on Bingo looking like Brandy in Onesies and clearly that was something that hurt Brandy. Maybe her own eggs aren’t viable for whatever reason and it was hard to accept that she’d never have a child who shared her DNA and looked like her the way Bingo looks like Chili. I think it’d be really interesting to see her have a child of a different breed because of a donor egg.
That’s not impossible, it’s an interesting thing to speculate
I have a theory! I think Brandy might be lesbian and there using IVF, and she might have been scared. And if she arrived alone, I think she might have been a bit scared to yk come out! This is maybe one of my best theories tysm for reading this!

I watched it on Disney+ and I was crying because they moved back in. It was so emotional and it was a funny episode at the same time. I watched it as soon as I woke up and when she mentioned moving, I went crazy until halfway into the end of the episode, bandit took out the for sale sign and then Chili ran out of the car and hugged bandit with blue and bingo and then they went back in their house. They were so excited the episode is so wholesome but sad at the same time😊
