Frimpong makes no sense to me.
if you think about it, it does Were probably going to play geggenpress and it usually leaves our defense out of place and the reasoning it makes sense is because frimpong can get back into position because of his pace and let alone brings a threat on the right flank a good overlapping rb he can really support yamal and raphinha players that usually tends to cut inside
@@elijahgougon4301that’s all well and good but Julian Araujo can do that. Maybe he isn’t as great attacking wise as Frimpong but he is definitely better defensively. I can Hansi doing something similar to what he did with Pavard to Julian and Kounde. To me Frimpong would make us too open so he can’t be our priority

Frimpong? Yh you not a real barca fan, you didn’t even call out the most important position cdm, we just need a cdm and then maybe a left winger, that’s the only thing we need
Maybe also xavi if we have some money left because I believe he could be like a Bellingham, wirtz or Musiala type player a superstar attacking midfielder but we would have to sell Fermin Lopez because they both play the same position and with pedri gavi fdj and gundo i don’t think Fermin will get a lot of games like this season

It’s just he doesn’t make many mistakes and plays semi decent most games but not impactful at all
He was supposed to step up but he just never reached world class level
So many people even in the Barca fanbase underrate Frenkie de Jong. People are annoyed at his contract situation, so they undermine his level as a result of that. Frenkie is arguably the best player at Barca, but he doesn't always fit into the midfield, especially when he's asked to do things he's not suited to.

Ferran Torres being a reliable winger and Felix in A for transfers are wild takes. Ferran is just awful. He has the same g/a (14) as a “finished” Ansu in 22/23 season in the same amount of minutes, and this is considered his “best” season. For me, the guy should’ve been shipped last summer after his even worse last season performances. His time at Barca is OVER.
As for Felix, he is just extremely inconsistent. I could see why people want to see him play under Flick as a 10, but I have a feeling no it won’t work at all. His decision making is awful and his work rate is even worse for such a pivotal position. I just don’t see it working out, and I actually think this is more of a Laporta signing rather than Flick.
