Both my son & I are in wheelchairs, so I think it would be a little more difficult for us but I love to see that it is possible for others. I hope we get to see a new video when he gets his skoolie

@Lisa Comer we have a Ram Promaster wheelchair build on our channel so it is definitely possible with 1 wheelchair. 2 might be more challenging but I would think a skoolie to work for you guys. Our motto is...nature is the best medicine so just getting out in the sunshine & seeing the beauty of nature can be healing for the soul & body sometimes.

In some ways it'll be more challenging because you need more space and in other ways it'll be easier because there's 2 of you to get stuff done and only one of him, plus he's taking care of a dog.
Life is way better when we look for ways to overcome the hurdles instead of focusing on the reasons why overcoming the hurdles are challenging.
Sometimes I get soooo depressed.
I watch this man that's paralyzed living in a a minivan.
I feel so bad for feeling bad. I have nothing to deal with compared to this man.
Its beyond me how his attitude so good. I have much respect and gratitude for him and of course Bob for sharing this very inspirational life story...Thank you so much
This mam is a hero. Depression is no joke. Limit your time on any device and get outside. Listen to music.
Bob had a video of man also named Bob who was in a wheelchair and lived out of a cargo trailer. He was able to pull up the ramp door with a cable set up. The creativity and resilience of many people is amazing.
It's okay to feel down about your situation. Everyone's situation is different and often comparing becomes a source of unhappiness. Let's take a lesson from Seth and use situations to gain perspective. I've also found this extremely helpful in my own situation. Best of luck to you, friend!! 🍀🍀

Wow! Just WOW! What an inspiration! I’ve spent months watching Bob’s videos and trying to get my family onboard to recreational travel…without much success. I’m 63, with end stage COPD. On oxygen 24/7, but I’ve been this way for 20 years! Just in the last year have I had to use a mobility chair more. We were always a camping family and I miss it so much. I’m hoping your video will inspire my family as much as it has me! I’d love to see you out on the road and arrange a tattoo! Thank you!!

I just went through two spine surgeries, multiple strokes several years ago, breast cancer in the past two years, a divorce a year ago after 33 years of marriage, had to sell the beautiful mountain house I raised my three children in, and moved into a 2 bedroom condo in the city. I do a LOT of overthinking, and I sure have been feeling sorry for myself and feeling that I have nothing left to live for. Thank you Seth and Bob for this interview. Seth, your positive attitude and your will to live your dreams in spite of the difficulties you face, has made a huge impact on me. I want to be like you. I plan to watch this video every time I am feeling down and sorry for myself. Keep on keeping on no matter what, young man!!!

Seth, I'm sure your surrounded by other Vets willing and able to help with your build. I'm also on VA disability, allows me to do what I want to do too! Currently in N.Ga, holler (here and we can figure out the rest) if I can be of assistance. Mechanic, carpenter ect...

Hey Man, you're a tough son of a gun. You're dealing with your stuff superbly. I'm disabled myself, it's a different disability cause I still walk (even tho I was blind for few months and couldn't even stand on my feet for few others). I feel incredible pain 24/7. Multiple sclerosis diagnosed 12 years ago. It's so nice you can do still drive, live a free nomadic life. Maybe you should become pro ink artist? That would be cool. Seth...My husband Derec is also a Navy Veteran & considered a quadriplegic due to a spinal cord injury. We have also been featured on Cheap RV Living. Hope you check out our Ram Promaster Build with the Under Vehicle Lift. It may give you ideas for your next build. The VA also helped us get our van build. Our van fits 2 of us plus his German Shepherd Service Dog. We recently added a 4×6 cargo trailer to be able to haul his 4WD wheelchair & made it into his mobile mancave/bathroom...lol ~Tanya

Lack of access is my biggest challenge being on the road. I am not wheelchair bound but bound by TBI induced environment sensitivities. Most environments other than my own van space not an option.
Recently I decided at some point I must venture out of my circle which keeps getting smaller and smaller.
The thing that keeps me going is “An amazing view”. It was seeking that amazing view that put me in that place and space that resulted in the diving accident. The desire for the view though has never changed or gone away. Being housebound just not an option for mental health.
I wish there was a guide for those of us who need to see a beautiful view out the front window of our vehicle a guide that Lists windshield access views to next view drive up access a place to sit and appreciate the beauty and that’s all around.
I don’t need the wheelchair access at the front of a parking lot to access the concrete as many do what I need is a place to park before a beautiful view at sunrise at sunset for just a little while. Then the opportunity to find the next view.
I’ll never forget the look on my real estate agents face almost 30 years ago when she asked me what I wanted at home and I said “A view”. We found a home with a beautiful view but after a while you just want to see more beautiful views not just one.

My dad was a quadriplegic and became paralyzed in a diving accident when he was 18. His van had the same type of hand controls as this young man's van. My dad worked for the state until he retired. This young man, just like my dad, proves that we are only limited by our imaginations.

He reminds me of my old fishing partner, who had type A diabetes. Through out his illness, and difficulties, he always looked on the good in life. Yeah he only had one good kidney, and when that one gave out, his sister gave him one. He called it a speed bump in life. Your inspiration is humbling. Thank you for the interview.

This guy is so cool. I'm a veteran also and seeing his spirit and no excuse attitude makes me proud. People will ALWAYS have an excuse not to do much or accomplish much. "I don't have money, I don't have a van, I don't have carpentry skills, I don't have a partner, I'm too old, I'm too young, etc." No matter what the excuse, someone in the same situation, or a worse situation, is living their dreams. It's so nice to see he didn't choose to go the excuse route.
He seems to have a positive attitude about life.

Great interview. Seth has a beautiful attitude. It’s so neat to see he hasn’t let circumstances prevent him from living a full and inspirational life.
I’m a 100% disabled veteran, full time wheelchair user (paraplegic). I also love to travel and currently have a Dodge Grand Caravan, but am in the process of getting a Chrysler Pacifica. I’ve stayed overnight in my van with my Service Dog a few times. I was going to get a full size van, but with the price of gas and the lack of available of full size vans I decided to stay with the minivan (but my new van has a trailer hitch). I would love to convert a Skoolie. I would also like to get a trackchair. You’re doing great.
Seth you are thriving despite the pool accident. You are taking care of your dog as well. I know what it's like to have to live a minimalist lifestyle. I'm a widow now and I'm renting a room in someone's house.
I want to feel loved and connected but so far I'm just on my own. I have my good days and bad, but ot makes one grow and become independent instead of co-dependant. Glad you will be remodeling to have an RV with more room. Thank you for your Navy service too!

Since I was a very little girl I knew exactly what I wanted before age 6. 1 of those things besides all creative arts etc, was to someday have some rural land to walk barefoot on ,plant gardens and make it a place that would welcome so many people & animals in need of avoiding hunger & homelessness,. You have been 1 of the very few creators on here, that you can tell right off that it's all from your caring approachable heart and you have affirmed that is IS possible for about everyone to make a happy space for themselves on about any budget. This is the video I have been looking for. I'm a T6 Complete. My wife divorced me after my accident. My two oldest kids are now grown and married. My youngest has two more years of high school. Thank you for sharing his story! Amazing! I used to caregive for a guy in a wheelchair and he even had a scooter but I never saw him even take it off his property. Let alone go traveling like this! Wonderful what you can do if you put your mind to it. Blessings!
