Some of the best music on NES. I was the coder on this game back in '89/90, and worked with Neil Baldwin, the composer/musician. He did some crazy stuff with the humble NES. Top bloke!
If it's true, thank You for creation one of the best NES game.
What about Jungle book? Did you guys also program that too?
So, do you know what is the intended speed for the music? 50Hz or 60Hz?
No way!! I loved this game so much! Thank you once again for it!
wow greetingz from russia!
level 1 music is perfection. i still remember it after 30 years
Yeah man, so much nostalgia. I can't unremember first three tracks of this game.
It´s that sound a chorus pedal??
Level 1 music is my fav.
Never played this game, but it has amazing music. I do like that NES bass sound. Both meaty and hollow at the same time.
That first level theme is so good. Especially this part (4:34)
I rented the game for a weekend as a kid, 30 years later i still miss that theme every now and then
Excellent work!, but 12:51 it's not an Unused Music, it's the end screen of James on the beach after really defeat Scumlord. You have to beat the game twice in a row.
Keep that good job of the OSTs!
Best theme the Title Screen and the Level 1 for me.
Thanks again.
the song is also featured in atleast one other game. "Ferrari Grand Prix". I'm pretty sure it's in one other game other than that aswell.
yes it is xD
beautiful childhood :)
yes 2018
The timer runs out often trying to figure out the last missile and you wander around thinking you are going the right direction...:P
That intro with that beat. Jumping out of that plane “i’m going in”.
Since i was a kid, sometimes, when i accomplish something, the "Well Done" song plays on my head!!!
A very hard game. Really
Gideon Higher Self i use to think nobody can finish this game haha
Abusus75 Finished this game many times. Usually with 1-2 lifes lost for whole run :)
MrMaaaJk gg! Haha
Thanks :) Sometimes I come backto this game, maybe I should record a video as a proof :)
Once upon a time I did that on VHS for my friend :D.. There was something very hard in one level, I can not remember what.. It was back in 1998 :).. Sorry for my English..
Strange how Neil Baldwin re-used the Unused Music tune at 12:51 in Ferrari Grand Prix Challenge.
It is sound similar but I think it is a two different tunes
@@andreyilkevich Drums are different, melodic channels have a slight difference, but it’s the exact same song.
Soglasen
Memories.
Level 2 - my favorite one!
0:26 the beat ❤️
The title screen music sounds like a forgotten savior walking into pitch black darkness only to vanish forever...after saving mankind from Judgement Day... #feelingmotivated
Full nostalgia ❤️
12:51 / 26:45: Name Entry
12:46 / 26:40: Game Over
My favourite game! -_- 02:38 , 07:59 , 12:51
thank you so much guy for this music this game is my favorite childhood
beautiful days
this reminds of "robocop 3" which sucks balls but the music is freaking cool, at least the start-screen
Same
Exactly
Love this game 😍😘
Class music ...their is no word first one is favourite.. 👍👍
Finished the game when i was 12 years old, great game
Great Nostalgic game :)
btw. level 3 music is best, i love this song :D
Does the music in the game sound faster when playing it on New Game+? I don't remember if this is so, but it would be a way to understand the repetition of the ost in this video.
Thank you for making this beautifully enhanced compilation.
Nope. One loop is the PAL version , the other is the NTSC version. Oddly enough, most of us know only the PAL version, and frankly speaking, the music sounds as if it was designed to be slow like that. Certainly sounds much better slowed down to 50hz instead of 60hz.
Perfect
Why does the Title Screen song sound like a sped up version of The Smashing Pumpkins - Zero
i remember the '90's when i used to play this game with my friends. i was skipping schoo justl to play this game beautiful times..:)
Whats? 26:45 Ferrari Grand Prix ?
Yeah it sounds like it lol
wow original bpm tempo xd finally ! xd
Super!!!
Level 1 so cool
Fuck yeah. Amazing music. Great Game.
the level 1 music it's good
Solid !
lvl 1 cool music
Thanks a ton bud
I am, the completed the game! not the first time of course
Epic
1997 2018
11:46 BEST
la version europea suena extraño
Goodbye THQ :(
What about level 4 tune?
Stage 1 and stage 3
since the uploader provided both 50 hz and 60 hz what speed was the soundtrack composed at?
50hz, since it was a PAL
Did this game was reviewed ever by AVGN?
Good music, but it seems like in an effort to play two notes at once by having the note alternate - a noble endeavor exemplified by MC Kids - here, they just did the alternating as fast as possible and I don't think that was a good idea.
Nothing against the game though.
How do you have a Bond game and not have the damn Bond letimotif? I'm not expecting a full movie-style opening on 8 bit the way they did with Everything or Nothing, but that seems like an easy lay up.
This game was based on a spinoff cartoon, not the real James Bond movies.
Much more efficient than coffee when I need to code and I'm running out of time.🕔 This music helps me to stay focused and calm.
