I don't think frenzy is in scale at all, but him transforming into the gun that barricade uses in DOTM I see why he's that big for.
Yeah, I think I would've liked better a scaled Frenzy figure separate to the actual gun. As a collector I am more interested in accuracy rather than storage, but hey it's better than no Frenzy at all which is what the MPM came without.

When Studio Series does a core class Frenzy, I would like to see him transform into this scolex spiker gun. Sure, he could turn into a radio like in the movie. But this gun mode for him looks awesome.
The radio would still be out of scale anyways
i've always liked the design of the cannons used in DOTM. and Frenzy transforming into said cannon is just....*chef's kiss* perfect!

i don't think frenzy is even remotely in scale considering he was about half the height of a standard human in the movies, but the fact that he turns into the gun is a pretty nice touch.
the starscream upgrade is also just something that should've been on the base figure to begin with. quite nice that we get it now, though.
I hope someone makes an upscale of this kit for the upscaled mpm starscream
You can recreate the scene in DOTM where Starscream mocks Megatron and rubs his hands together.

Got this kit a few weeks ago and it works on my KO MPM starscream. Doesn't look too out of place and easy to repaint with sharpies.

@@JM64 if you’re collecting to invest then get the MPM but if you want a good enjoyable Starscream for the shelf then get a KO since they have major improvements over the MPMs mold like better sculpting, more die cast and the buttflap folds in more, and it’s more stable.
The T-10 upscale one also features LED eyes and more finger articulation. I own both T-10 figures and I can confirm they’re awesome. However the DNA kit won’t be compatible with this.
I’d honestly like to get this set just to get that frenzy. Fantastic review as always PvP! :)

This so so cool to see it all together. I love how Frenzy looks. I have the 4th party F-12 Starscream. Do you think the bicep parts would work for it? I’m looking at them now and the paint apps on F-12 are matched differently

You voice personation of those transformers characters is impeccable. You should really consider sound dubbing as your another major income source.
I know he wouldn't have made sense to include in the first wave of SS core figures, but it sure would have made a hell of a lot more sense for them to make a core Frenzy instead of Shockwave

Barricade deserved an RC with this amount of detail as well.
To be honest, I got this for the arms and Frenzy is just a fantastic bonus. Fixing MPM Scream makes him one of the straight best figures I've ever had.

I think the spikes improve the look of Frenzy IMO and I like the idea of him being a target master.
So Idk if anyone has this issue with Mpm starscream but the arm ratchets on my copy are really loose like I can’t really pose him with his weapons because they’ll just flop down. Does anyone know how to fix it or have this same issue because I was considering getting this just for starscream because I don’t have mpm barricade

Nope.
Hmm... tempting but I can already make my KO MPM DOTM Starscream bend his arms enough to get his hands together etc.. by using the joints inside the biceps and these parts don't match the metallic and patterned DOTM look for him, the Frenzy is cool and love he blaster mode but I have the more movie accurate 'static' Frenzy with swap out arms which is similar in size... still tempted lol.

Justin to be fair the figure frenzy needs to be smaller I'm glad that they made the figure but it needs to be a scale smaller

I actually have a question about Starscream. You saying "The humans have taken it" reminded me. But why does Starscream have a *deep* voice in the first movie, but more of a raspy voice in all of the other movies? I always wondered about that
Something to do with outer space messing with his vocal box or like the pressure damaged them and he did not fix it all the way from what I know of

The Upgrade Kit for Starscream is a bit of a _mess_ . Because original *MPM - Starscream* has *no* paint, just silver with some bit darker grey shading effects. And that fully *Gunmetal* painted arms arent matching. Only maybe with *Ko version of Starscream* . That means only *Ko Starscream* owners can actually buy it. (Unless they dont have a problem with paint mismatching) And the new arms still has those ugly "rectangle holes" which always looks bad for me and not accurate to actual arms of Starscream in the movie.
Also Barricade gets only 1 Kit which only frenzy? And Frenzy does not transforms to radio like in the movie, but transforms to a gun which was in DOTM? That sucks man...

These upgrade kits only show how much these Masterpieces are killing it. Here’s to hoping that we get masterpiece Blackout, Bonecrusher, and Brawl as well (KO oversizes do not count).
I am 100% down for all of these. Then after that they can start on all the characters from the second film ;)
They should make a new legs for starscream to make him stay still and not fall off like they did with studio series dino they made a new legs for him that has ankle tilt

Looks should be easy enough to address if you don't mind doing some painting, or you can use gundam markers.
Frenzy's head wasn't properly set in gun mode and it's hurting my head, knowing that I can't do anything about it.

More or less what we saw in the movie. Frenzy was smaller than humans, he is way out of scale with the masterpiece line he goes up past barricades knee, the sam figures we got isn’t even that tall enough to reach the knees of the figures, if you think that is some what accurate your some what crazy.
