Fun Facts: This is the first season of AFC Champions League to be held within two years similar to the original one by UEFA. Unsurprisingly, all games of this competition was held on the same period as the UEFA ones. The group stage for this season was played between September and December, with the knockout phases being held on February-May. The only big differences is that there will be an Asian Cup held in Qatar on January 12-February 10.
In addition, this is the last time that AFC Champions League uses its old format because the next season it will be revampped to 3 competitions similar to the UEFA ones, with Elite ones being the new name of the original AFC Champions League. The competition also adopted the new Bosman rulling, which allowed every clubs to sign unlimited foreigners.
That's shameful for AFC as they have nothing but the ability to copy the anything from UEFA
@mrajesh8370 I just checked in Wikipedia and realized that they followed UEFA's suits on turning this competition from simply a tournament to mini-league format:
1.24 teams participating in the main stage, split into West and East (12 teams each).
2.The top 8 teams for each region will qualify for the first knockout round.
3.The final is played at the neutral venue like the UEFA and CONMEBOL did with their own club competitions, but unlike both, the country that's selected by AFC for the final venue will also host the quarterfinals and semifinals.

RIZAL MEMORIAL STADIUM IN MANILA RAWR
Kaya-Iloilo is supposedly based in the province of Iloilo in Visayas. But they don't have an AFC standard stadium so they play their games at Manila City. That's like a team in Shanghai playing in Beijing, or a team in Chicago playing in New York. Hope you all get the idea

Because all stadiums are owned by the state and not the clubs, except for Al-Nasr Stadium.
Currently, there are 6 stadiums under construction, which will end in 2026 and will be owned by the clubs, not the government.
