- Hey folks! Today I decided to make a simple video based on one of my favorite old flash games called Strike Force Heroes. I pre-ordered the remaster just before it was released because I wanted to know how it feels to play the game with new graphics and such. I also decided to make a quick video about it as I reminisce about the past of flash games (still rip), and I also used this as an opportunity to learn a bit more about video editing. So yeah I hope you guys would enjoy it!

If you played this game for as early as it can get, you should be 18 now. 18, didn't go to university and straight to military? That's odd.

Most people who enlist in the military do it straight after high school. Majority of enlisted at 18 some even at 17. All of my drill instructors enlisted at 17. It is different if you decided to become an officer because you need a degree so the average age would be 22-23 for newly commissioned officers.

When i was little, i did not know much English, but i always thought that line was one of the most memorably ones
Now, I truly know how Cinematically COOL that was :D
It truly is, and somehow, thanks to the voice actor of Riggs, it sounds more memorable.
I don't remember rose at nightfall ever sounding as good as it does now :0
Possibly because of the old compression found in most flash games. But even then there is a hint of this being even better now despite the same soundtrack. I think it's the game giving us so much adrenaline.

Man that "full radar up" quip just sent me 10 years back in time, loved playing this game so much on kongregate, seeing it with renewed life is just awesome ❤

In this remake just like in the original I just love playing mission 3 over and over again just to listen to Rose at Midnight, what an absolute banger of a song
It really is, possible the one that really got me hooked into the rest of the soundtracks in the game

Man I used to be so bad at video games. I never actually beat SFH as a kid. Booted up a flash emulator today and cleared it in about an hour.
That is pretty much almost everyone's experiences, but even if it has been years, we still find the excitement of finishing games we haven't beaten by our past selves.
@@ImperialL. Oh yeah absolutely. There’s definitely a sense of triumph in coming back and dominating these levels. I also noticed I levelled up way faster. I think I’ll probably try and take on Raze/Raze 2 next.

I know almost nothing about the Raze games.
But they do use Ricochet Love which is literally my favorite song ever, (not even exaggerating lol) so that's p cool.

the remaster version is amazing after all, I remember playing it when I was about 8 years old, now I went back to it and played the old version again, unfortunately I can't afford the new one but I see that the remaster is brilliant! but in my opinion the old gun sounds were better anyway.
Hey the game will still be there and wont go anywhere so take your time, you can also wait for sales as well! I get what you mean with the old sounds were better, since I still love the sound of the default sniper since I kinda grew up with those sound effects and I remember like endless hours playing old games like CS 1.6.
Someone needs to make a mod where the audio is compressed and low quality, it just doesn't feel like true SFH without it.
it would be better if they add it as part of the game since it might be easier to add in new (relatively) mp3 files and code in a switch.

i like the remaster but i wish they would put the old one back in or on the steam store for free so ogs could enjoy the first creation
While it would be fun, I feel like the main problem is that Flash Media in itself is dead and no longer getting any security update while it is possible to bundle it, I think it will take a while to do that. I am not saying it is impossible since wolfenstien did it, but I think at the time, the devs may not have the resources to do so, since they have to find a way to insert it into the game while keeping the core game stable.

I do believe that your name in the new version is tied to Steam name. If there are any other versions aside from Steam then I cannot help you there unfortunately.

ngl the enemy seem to be less strong than the original game
I went back to the original, and then this one, there were some things I noticed as well. It felt like they were not that tanky, but their accuracy have improved. The ai have definitely been improved (if you watch towards the end, there is an actual hilarious example). In fact, I did the challenges in the remastered, and the golden gun was really hard even if you have it as well because they can zing you as they drop or jump.
I mean, comparing the behavior of ai of an old game to this one is not exactly a fair fight, but their accuracy, I think, makes up the lack of health. Also, this is also prevalent when most of my matches have me spend running around for ammo and a medkit.
@@ImperialL. well the same as SFH 3 when ai can be alot more aggressive, their hp also not as strong but they shoot you right after they spotted you
@nguyenduythang7598 is that so? Honestly, it's been a while since I played SFH 2 or 3 in that matter, so maybe you are right. It's just that I felt like when I played SFH 3, it was not that hard, but I'll try to boot it up and see if it was any different from what I remember.
@@ImperialL. i think because i used to play sfh 3 on hardest mode for xp and money that i feel like that
