- New map today, Cotterell for OMSI 2.This is a preview build sent to me by UK Design Team. A non-fictional map based on Bath and is part of a bigger project to merge Buses of The West Country 2 together once that is made. Only one route available so far with this alpha map U18 which takes you from the city bus station to the University of Cotterell. Enjoy

I have been to Bath many times and this map represents it really well. Bath bus station does have that very tight exit, Mangers Street does exist! The only thing is that the bus station is bigger.I

As a bus driver for first Sheffield I can tell you that Overground is the branding that was used on high frequency routes that ran every 10/15 mins and sometimes every 20/30 mins before the livery was changed from the barbie livery to the Olympia livery
Love how he says not as hilly as Sheffield because the roads out of the city center are pretty much all steep gradients

That bus station at the beginning of the route reminds me of the greyhound(coach) bus terminal in the city I live in.

Braunstone is actually from Leicester/Leicestershire and General Hospital is Leicester General Hospital.

Btw route u18 is run by Wessex not first and I know it could just be the skin the bus comes with
Oh I've been to bath before and I have been in the high street and I got a bus from the bus station

We in York still have about 5 of these old buses!
My mistake, we have 10 B7Ls and 5 B6BLEs!
That many?!? I see them occasionally but I only though there were a couple.
I drive busses in bath nice to see a route I've driven but the names of those uni busses are now u1 u2 u5 and u6

for busses of the west, look at the dependencies file inside the documents folder inside the botw.zip

The reason why it says over ground because first great western is a train service and now it's a bus service
They think that bus is used in Leicester but it's not. Only the newer ones are. Another thing is that route 16 is no longer run with those buses and has no route branding.
love these videos, just a bit confused you say at the start of the video that you know a little about Leicester as you have lived here for a few years... how come you do not Know the bus Livery is FROM Leicester?? thats one of the bussiest routes in Leicester...love it

They back lamps are standard for that model it is quite a old model most dating back too 2002
The branding is actually from Leicester on the route 16 which is active. Sae bus but you don't see the branding anymore which is sad.
To add to that Hinckley road Is just off Fosse Park and Gedding road a few inches from General Hopsital.

Yeah Sheffield is really hilly that a lot of the older buses here can no longer cope with the hills all that well like this bus for example.

Had to take b7L on number 8 yesterday due to the hills arrived at Crystal Peaks 12 mins late
The livery is the old barbie doll livery and the tail lights I can confirm from working at first they aren't the ones on the volvo's or scania's we have up north. Engine sound deffinitly not the the same as any of the buses we had up in Oldham and bury and from the dashboard the speedo and time very much from the 55 and older buses whereas the control board with the levers there from the 59 reg and newer buses. Furthermore the doors aren't the same from any of the ecplise and there should be a cabin door with a full window
As a driver in Sheffield I know we have a mixture of the ones in this video and the ones you are talking about

To get this bus (or any bus for that matter) to work on this map (or another map) do you simply have to copy the .hof file for that map into the directory of the bus you want to use?

They don't even use any double deckers for the uni buses except 15 and 16

That MUST be an update because the bus I downloaded had no working wing mirrors
It's not a beep it's a signal to show that the bus is moving

Hi there, we started the map under the name of Cotterell so we could take a few liberties with it, but since we've decided that it'll be merged into BotW 2 which uses real place names, it would seem silly for the most accurate place on the map to be called something different! It's going to be renamed Bath when it's merged in, and we might renumber the route at the same time :)
i went to Bath & Bristol they both were nice but i prefered Bristol
