I thought The Folk of the Air series was so underwhelming. It felt like I read a different series to others because so many people rave about it. Also, I agree with you about the opinions thing. Itâs absolutely ridiculous how freaking rude people are when you donât like something that they like, especially if itâs very popular. Any form of art is SUBJECTIVE! People shouldnât dish out what they canât take because theyâll literally talk shit about books but have an issue if someone else does it. Make it make sense.
I respect your opinion I'm very harsh on books and I struggle people falling in love over a book I didn't like .... I would never lash out on others cause your right that's their opinion and this is mine

An opinion on a book is an opinion. Everyone can have differing opinions on books. Just because you like a book doesnât mean everyone will like it. Everyone should respect each other opinions. Anyways rant aside, I love watching wrap up videos.

the Shatter Me series is so good, my favourite books ever, i will protect this series with my life.
Same shatter me was so great but the folk series was a literal disappointment
Maybe someday has been one of my favs and always will be as it portraits how it is possible to meet the đđđ when you're with someone else you can't seem to imagine life without.
It was so beautifully portrayed, and most people are unable to understand the depth of it and it's okay.
Sometimes it's never đ đđđ black and white/right or wrong sometimes it's grey.

highly recommend storygraph instead of goodreads because you can do half and quarter stars and put dnfs as well as stats. you can export your goodreads data too. i will say goodreads has better community aspects tho

i didnt like reading the virgin suicides too! i hate how their perspective is told from the boys, im sure it was supposed to be like that but i completely agree with u. on the other hand, i am obsessed with the movie and it is so much better.
Can't wait for you to get to Defy Me, loved some twists in that one! I very much love Maybe Someday, but I understand your view. In Maybe Now, Maggie gets her own love story and you see more about her life struggles from her pov & Sydney gets more selfless from what I remember. The way she helps Ridge with stuff is cute.
I'll always recommend Bright Side by Kim Holden (probably my all-time fave) & the sequels. It's given me a different perspective on life. And Tarryn Fisher (for thriller or romance) is one my favorite authors, her writing is beautiful. Mud Vein is one of my all-time favorites, it's heavy, heartbreaking, twisted (look up TW but be careful of spoilers). Marrow has cameos/easter eggs from MV & is a morally grey story with an insane twist.

Iâm surprised that people get so offended when you do not like a specific book. I completely agree with your opinion on Funny you should ask! I did not like it. I gave it 2/5. The only reason it got 2 stars from me is because it was so fast pacedđ the journal entries were random to me and I hated Chaniđ

I felt the SAME WAY about Funny You Should Ask!!! It took me till I was more than halfway through the book to understand that it was divided up by the day of the week then separated past and present đ€Żđ€Żđ€Ż I thought it was cute tho đ„° although his behavior was still inexcusable đ€§

i was gonna buy the cruel prince series but i read the back and i didnât really like it. i like more of a romance as the plot in a fantasy book. i also read hopeless, it was amazing. shatter me series is not smth i could get into. i recommend the crave series by Tracy wolff. itâs very good! thx for this video! it made my day! đđ

How do you read so much?? Iâm over here thinking my 6 books in July was a lot. đ for real, Iâm jealous. I wish I could consume more books. But I agree with you on the Folk of the Air series. I absolutely hated it. I only read the first book and donât plan on reading any more. đ I wanted to love it because everyone else did, but it just missed the mark for me.

I hated Maybe Someday. I read it years ago and still remember how mad I was. The lead girl deserved better. So did the âotherâ girl. But I find I hate books about cheating. So if there is any of that in a book, I stay away now. I love Hopeless. That was my favorite Colleen Hoover book. I need to read Losing Hope.

can i pleaseee suggest you read acotar.. listen, i was scared going into it but u gotta bite the bullet..... i will tell you its kinda slow feeling in the beginning but once she meets Tam everything sky rockets (second book is better so it would be worth the pain)

i adore kenji sm!! i loved the cruel prince series but didnt rlly love the shatter me series, i forced myself to read all of them esp imagine me cos of kenji (besides ignite me and restore me which are very good) but i understand where u are coming from and defo get why ppl like the shatter me series but not for me mainly because of the plot, i dont love dystopians LMAO. maybe i will reread tho and see if my opinions change because i like the characters!
