Have you ever thought about keeping a notebook throughout the year where you can write a Bible verse that sticks out to you daily, how you're feeling that particular day, what you're thankful for? That way once the year is over you can look back at the verses and what you're thankful for in the different seasons of life over that year
I have a journal, but i also used to do something similiar with empty tea boxes. I'd have one for "good happenings" so whenever i do something fun with my family etc. I write the date and what i did. I also made a prayer and answered prayer box, i haven't done this in a while but i want to start again. Then after a year or so yóu can look back and then maybe use your notes to write in a journal.
Looooove your videos 😍 my goal for 2023 is to be more consistent with everyone. With reading my Bible, praying, attending Bible study and serving.

I used to hate doing things alone. Something I started when I left for college was to go out for a meal at a restaurant by myself once a week. It was weird at first, but it truly helped my confidence so much. I really got to know myself a lot better too. It’s also helped me become more aware of my surroundings

How you’re explaining you were putting walls up, is how I’ve grown up getting through things. I recently “came back to Jesus” in August and I’m now learning how to rely on God during hard times instead of putting walls up and depending on myself. It’s very hard for me to do this and to spend time with God even when I’m so not in the mood, however I definitely see why it’s worth it and why it’s the best. When I depended on myself I was basically drowning in life’s trials but when I depend on God, it’s easier for me to get back my joy and motivation and hope. I hope things get easier for you!
You could walk and FaceTime someone who is also wanting to walk with some one! We have the same reading Goal !!! I want to read 30 books this year!

My brother unexpectedly passed away in April and ever since, I’ve felt so numb and like I’ve failed to reflect on or process each day and feel like I’ve just shoved everything down but I didn’t know how to describe that. Hearing you put that into words helped me so much so thank you :)

Also, regarding your struggles with anxiety, Bible reading and prayer time we all struggle in our walk with Jesus.
