    While performing the hiv test with test kit i toughed the area where sample is collected with pricked finger and give the blood. At the time i toughed sampale collection area accidently. I don't use pippet(dropper) I heared live antigen of hiv in the test kit.

    Can Hiv is spread by test kit in such method?

    whats the difference between direct elisa

    • @animatedbiologywitharpan
      @animatedbiologywitharpan  Před 6 měsíci

      Direct ELISA directly uses labeled antibodies for antigen detection, while indirect ELISA employs unlabeled primary antibodies and labeled secondary antibodies, amplifying the signal for increased sensitivity. Direct ELISA is quicker but less sensitive, while indirect ELISA offers enhanced sensitivity at the cost of additional steps.

    I don’t like how HIV is confused with AIDS … or refered to as aids in this video

    • @beatsbybrando8826
      @beatsbybrando8826 Před 6 měsíci

      It’s [HIV] not at all being confused with AIDS, HIV is essentially a pre-cursor to AIDS, AIDS is the final stages when the HIV infection becomes most prominent; there are associated decreases to the CD4+ cells, greatly reducing one’s immunity, allowing them to be susceptible to opportunistic infections that the normal person wouldn’t be. Thats how it was discovered; young people having cancers that weren’t typically seen in their age demographic, I.e more of those in their 80s… LONG STORY SHORT, AIDS is HIV, HIV is not CATEGORIZED as AIDS until there is final progression characterized by low CD4+ (T-cell) counts, typically around 200/uL (vs ~1000/uL) , so it’s again the final stage of the infection from the virus, therefore the same thing. It’s a 5-minute summary video, in which he did a great job. 🎉😊
