    I have learned much through watching this channel and then trying to employ what I have learned while playing.But as you stated-“not everything goes as planned”.Practice is the best mode of learning.I would like an episode on the amount of power for striking the cue ball.Thanks for the helpful tips.👍

    Hi Sharivari, thank you for your videos they are really helping me. Do you have a video to avoid scratching when in the kitchen and an object ball is near the foot spot? Maybe a drill to practice this? Thank you

    For easier and more consistent position on the bonus shot, just use low left with a good stroke. The left will throw it down the table off the rail.

    What about short side position on the five ball? To bottom right pocket on the screen? Then a simple medium powered draw can get you in line for the 6?

    Good vid as usual. Side question how do you keep burn marks/spots off your cloth. I got 860HR and aramith tournament balls. Wasn't expecting to have so many....

    • @Sharivari
      @Sharivari  Před 2 lety

      I have a piece of my old cloth, that I am putting under the cue ball when practicing extreme shots, like jumping and maximum draw etc. You can also do this when breaking.

    you hit low/right on the break where in previous videos you were hitting center/right. Do you a preference or recommendation for consistency on breaks?

    • @Sharivari
      @Sharivari  Před 2 lety

      I am adjusting the amount of low depending on my speed. The softer I break, the lower I go on the cue ball. That's because every rack is reacting a bit differently. It's a long process of trial and error, and especially analyzing the cue ball, one ball and wingball.

  • @planetscore

    How did you know you wouldn't bump slightly into the 8 ball when you were on the 6? Is there a trick to judge the reflection from the cushion more accurately or scientifically?

    How do you do the four ball run

  • @MinorVoices
    @MinorVoices Před 2 lety +1

    First problem is the break wasn't legal by current championship standard, you only made 2 points (1 ball into the pocket, 1 ball ended up on the opposite half of the table), should be minimum 3 points. But maybe it's only for certain kind of championship?

    • @Albinario
      @Albinario Před 2 lety

      Only 1 point actually, a ball has to pass the head string to count.

  • @shuchengchao
    @shuchengchao Před 2 lety

    Great concentration making the 5 ball! But isn't the break an illegal break?

    • @Sharivari
      @Sharivari  Před 2 lety +1

      Only if you are playing with 3 point rule, which you don't see very often where I am playing.

  • @jacobjones5269
    @jacobjones5269 Před 2 lety

    If the 5 has that much pocket, I think you gotta play it the way you did.. However, if your forced to go with a different option from that point, I believe the best shot is to simply play it uptable to the left pocket.. I believe that’s an underutilized option..

    why right spin? wouldnt that open up the angle more, brining the cue ball closer to the 7 ball? don't you want left spin to bring the ball closer to the center of the table?

    • @Sharivari
      @Sharivari  Před 2 lety

      No, because with right spin I will hit the long rail earlier. With left spin little chance to go to the center.

      I switched at the beginning of this year. People got confused by the colors and the lighting situation made it difficult to tell stripes and the eight ball apart.
