I loved this programme. As a child I used to watch repeats of it on Challenge TV with my grandmother. Was very sad when she died (naturally) and also that I can’t see it any more, as it reminds me of her. I know it’s very dated with house prices now, but was a pleasant surprise to find an episode on CZcams. Thank you for uploading it.
I was in the audience for one of these episodes of Under Offer (not this exact one though). They were recorded at the old Meridian studios in Northam, Southampton when mum and I went to watch. Bumped into Maureen from Driving school on the way into the building who was there for some other show they were doing. In between takes, Fred Dinenage was cracking jokes, some of them quite near the knuckle but still a good laugh. Don't recall the pervert weatherman Fred in the episode I saw (thankfully!). Was just cool to see how a TV show is put together really. Think I was 15 at the time when we went. Looking back it was probably the last hurrah from Meridian and any sort of TV show production in Southampton, doing shows like this, The Village, Monkey Business etc.
