Sometimes that is good thing because as long as they don’t know, the rewards and prizes is all that matters. People don’t know if they are fake friends or not
Just imagine you trading your Pokémon cards for fake Pokemon cards and then realizing that they’re all fake💀 Edit: I don’t want to be that guy but… …I’m not that guy
The fact that Pokémon cards are really hard to replicate even close to the original makes my mind want to explode over who wouldn’t realize they were fake
I wouldn't say it's 'genius' because everyone in my primary school tried to do this, but the kid definitely got very lucky considering not a single person (supposedly) caught on to the fact that the cards were all fake. Back in my primary, every pokemon collector would check the back of the card to see if they were fake whenever they were doing a trade.
This happened once in my school when I was in 5th grade. One kid had brought an entire binder full of 1st edition and fossil 1st edition and other rare cards, and he traded them for multiple rare cards, he tricked even teachers. It became such a problem that the school had to ban pokemon cards. After that, they were not seen since
You know what!!? On the second to last day the school was completely out when I was on 7th grade I was taking out the trash for my teacher and when I come back I see that one of my friends was picking up something shimmery from the ground. IT WAS A GOLDEN CHARIZARD that someone lost under the trash can. The only reason it was found was because I’m a clumsy person and the teach can was in one of those things that you sit the trash can on and it has wheels so you can roll it around. Well I didn’t know that the trash can could come off of it and I knocked the trash can off. The teacher told me to bring the trash bag outside or ask one of the janitors to please put it outside instead and told my friend who found the card to lock up the trash can, and that’s when he found it. It was INSANE, especially since my friend who found it didn’t really know what Pokémon was. I now regret telling him and not keeping it for myself.😓
Soooo...... when i was in sixth grade i brought some mini water guns to school to show my friends and some kid wanted one and would give me 5 lolipops so i said sure. I then sold another one for 4 bucks and keep in mind that these cheap tiny toys cost 50 cents so i was makimg a tun of profit. Teachers started confiscating the water guns from kids but none of them snitched on me. After that i started to hire "body guards" which were just tall strong kids. One day the 7th graders came to me and asked i gave them some but there were so many of them they drew attention and i got cought i was instructed to shut it down but i sold 6 more and then i was done in the end i made $187 profit
Here's a story: I'm currently in 8th grade. In our school, we have a system where we sign up for daily activities at the beginning of each week. The problem was that all the good activities would get to max capacity very quickly. I had an idea. I am a programmer, and I coded an automation to sign me up for the good activities as soon as possible. I haven't given this program out to anyone else, but this has really helped me throughout the school year.
This is surprising, I used to know how to tell the difference between real and fake and when I had Pokémon cards I would always check my trades. Surprised nobody noticed immediately
Someone did this in my school, at the end peoples that got scammed got half back + at the first time the kid wont give anything but then teachers forced him to
I also remember that older kids at school scammed young kids that probably started their pokemon card collection quite recently. And these young kids have little to no knowledge about it. They only thing they know is that they want to collect Pokémon cards.. So an older kid approaches a newbie. And says he wants to trade some cards. And convinces him its a good deal. But in fact they young kids give out their good cards for bad ones.
He’s the kind of guy to scam all of his friends out of tens of thousands and then move across the country and never be heard from again by the ones he scammed.
I remember when I was five years old and I got my first Pokémon pack and managed to pull myself a Charzard ex 108 106, I was super excited to show it off to my friends the next day and as I was shaking it off my friends older brother came over stole it from about 1 week later they moved schools and I never saw that card again so I looked it up online and there currently selling for about 1,700 usd
I have a story I did this in 7th grade I would go to Costco or a discount store and get a bunch of soda and candy for dirt cheap then I would double or triple the price take it to school and sell it I had over 6 employees I payed them 10-20% so they where encouraged to sell more by the time it was third quarter i made 1250$ profit each employee made around 200 my best employee made 450

Yeah genius bro should give him a round of applause and hope he grows up to be an even bigger scammer.
Imagine if he also traded scammers. This story would be a whole lot different..
He's not a genius until everyone finds out
I knew a kid who did this, and everytime me and my friends confronted him, he would cry and say we were bullying him and get us in trouble
Nowadays, they’ll say it’s fake, and it could not be fake. Happened to me once.
i thought this was in the 00’s and thought he was gonna say he got a ps3 or something
