- I watched Celtic v Buckie Thistle in the Scottish Cup. Earlier this season I watched Celtic play Champions League football! Previously, I'd seen Buckie Thistle play in the Highland League (non league football).

Absolutely delighted that Buckie will gain so much financially from playing us yesterday the magic of the cup. Big up all the Non league teams! 🍀
So happy for Buckie football club and third fans passitonet supporters and they did themselves proud and gained some financial money brilliant Buckie get into the upper league boys ❤
Great stuff yet again, Sam. Love your passion for the Scottish game. I'm a Rangers fan living abroad (for over 30 years). It's fantastic how you give your utmost to every club you visit, even if the conditions are miserable and some of the games are nondescript. Meeting the locals and now, getting press passes to interview commentators (love Ian Crocker!) and members of the playing and coaching staff. You are genuinely giving a voice and recognition to so many historical clubs whom, perhaps without your intervention, wouldn't have had any chance to avail themselves amidst the huge money leagues around Europe. I have many friends who are Celtic fans and we enjoy the good-natured banter. That is the real backbone of the Old Firm; banter! Not hatred. Hatred doesn't prove or solve any issue. May you keep going as long as you can providing these incredible videos. We will back you all the way :)
It’s a thing of beauty when the non league teams are able to face the top teams.
I agree! Absolutely love it!
Fabulous for Buckie Thistle. What a day. Watched it on TV live. The pundits were asking what’s the world record for offside goals 😂⚽️
Was great to see Buckie go out and have a real go and they definitely would have deserved a goal, just a shame about the chance in the first half and the VAR penalty that wasn't given. Just wish that more teams in the Scottish Premier League would be willing to go out and have a go when playing there and not sit behind the ball and still end up losing by 5 or 6 goals (especially annoying when it's Aberdeen who are doing that). The only downside of the day the trains were all cancelled from just after 6pm, not 7pm as the announcement in the stadium said, and I ended up having to wait nearly 2 hours and pay a fortune for a taxi. But it was still worth seeing the match.
Hi Sam from south Africa..i enjoy your shows I was born in Scotland dumbarton .started watching celtic in 1967 lisbon lions was my team 6 shilling to get into the jungle thoses days keep up the good work moving around Scotland hail hail
This is an extremely so fantastic video between Celtic and Buckie Thistle where the home side comfortably won but fairplay to the away side to be giving such a good match and they would slowly develop themselves well to perform strongly in the lower league football, good friends!!!LONG LIVES RESPECTIVELY TO BOTH CELTIC AND BUCKIE THISTLE!!!🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️🏋♂️
Maybe this game will have given Buckie a taste of playing in the SPFL and more opportunities to play the likes of Celtic & Rangers and they can push for promotion from the HL
I was speaking to a guy at the Buckie social club a couple of years ago and he was saying the supporters were fairly evenly split about whether they'd want to get promoted up to League Two if they won the Highland League. Some of them said it would be a great opportunity but others were saying it would cost the club too much money. Hopefully now the financial boost from the cup this year will give them enough so that if they do get promoted they've got enough financially to be able to survive in the league.
fantastic production ma man... great to see the bucky players etc gushing about the experience.. yiv just earned my subscription...
Thanks for the sub mate! Hope you enjoy the videos coming up!
am a loooong time Buckie supporter and I was at the game on Sunday in the away end. Not often you come away from a 5-0 scoreline and still enjoy the day. Thanks for the coverage Sam. I remember seeing you at that Hearts B Vs Buckie game and thinking I recognized you form somewhere but the penny only dropped when I got home and saw that video.
I love seeing games like these, feels so refreshing even though it may be a one sided affair 90% of the time.
Excellent video as always 👏👏👏
Keep up your great work Sam 👍
Great video Sam! This match up is just insane and a day to remember for the club, big financial boost for Buckie! The VAR nerves within 2 mins did make me laugh
Cheers Skeggsie! Hope you've been keeping well down in Dover!
@@FootyAdventures Keeping well, but been a tough old time for our club, hard to take really, still follow them everywhere tho!
Great access to the Buckie team. Really nice to see how big an occasion it was for them. Thye gave a good account of themselves too.
You should definitely do a video in Porto and go to a Boavista home match. They’re the overlooked club in the city and one of the very few clubs to ever win the league.
Amazing video! Good to see the access you got
Danny is such a genuine nice lad, and Ben, both are real diamond geezers
800 views in under 40 minutes for something dropped on a Monday afternoon is impressive stats. Getting places, Sam!
Great work sam, best of luck buckie
Great coverage of the Buckie team beforehand 👏
Great stuff Sam.
David versus Goliath is always a great storyline, but Celtic make it more Jack versus the Giant and there’s no beanstalk to run down.
Great to talk with all the Bucky Thistle players and staff and get their impressions on playing on one of the biggest stages in the SPFL.
Love your content 💚
fantastic video waht i day for buckie i would to see buckie thistle in Scottish football league
Ha ha imagine if the guys mum sees him lighting up
Carshalton are an 7th tier non-league team in England. Their players are paid under £12,000 per year, their largest crowd in the last 3 years was 725 and the Opta Power Ranking rank them at 42, the same as Scottish team Buckie Thistle, who are playing at Celtic Park today in front of 60,000 people!
Footy ventures is a Jambo.
It was nice to meet you lad
Attendance was just over 40000. I'm a Celtic fan. The Green and White of the North. Hopefully play them in a friendly in Buckie
you deserve much more subs....
Great for Buckie thistle 👊
Hi Sam, is there anyway to contact you about covering the disability league in Scotland? I play in this league and we don’t get enough coverage and so many people in Scotland miss their chance to play thinking they can’t due to their disability, if there is anyway to contact you please let me know
Many thanks, Brandon
Do go Peterhead and Nairn county when you can Sam 😊
Good video ✅
Love the title sir👉🍀💚😉
Hate to be that guy, but why not use a pic of Victoria Park for the 'non league' side of the thumbnail?
Go on the Buckie bhoys 🍀🍀🍀
How rude of that lad from Elgin lighting a cigarette right in front of you while talking to him ! 😠
Got a picture wae u there
Garfield house hotel…
What was the attendance? Looked about 50-55K
Looked closer to the 50k mark from where I was sitting. I expected less as 4pm on a Sunday is not a great KO time in mid January. Buckie deserved a Saturday 3pm game which would have added so much more to the occasion. What was noticeable about the home crowd was the huge number of families with young kids. I suspect season ticket holders gave their seats away to those who don't get the chance to go to games. Given the wild weather not surprisingly many of them disappeared early.
Many thanks.

How youn getting the prefarencial treatment give someone else a chance!
Did they get 20k? Can blame the weather but the 10k Irish made it over 😂😂😂

Where's the champions league team ?
Thought it would be common knowledge Celtic were the first Scottish and British team to be European champions. A feat never to be repeated. Also took part in the champions league this season, not too sure what’s hard to understand there!
@@MultiJoe84 the title implies that they're still in the champions League. They're not. Not even in Europe.
Champions league,no ,CL battering amateurs for the proper teams
all these fans from up north supporting celtic is everything wrong with scottish football
So if your local team is in the highland leagues should you be banned from watching the spfl and having a team you like from it? I’m sure no one down south from supports their local club and a Prem giant at the same time…
People catching a bus from Buckie to support Celtic against their home team. Weird as fuck.
@@eljink9845well said
@@eljink9845 Aberdeen, Cove, Peterheid, Elgin, ICT, Ross County - all in Highland league region. Support one of them?
Lots of Huns up the highlands too, nothing to say about that nah.
Champions league 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wait until all those Celtic supporters waving Palestinian flags hear about what Palestinians think about Catholics
Sam,,,you must be Scottish by now. Brilliant for Buckie,,,,wish more wee teams got a decent pay day.
