- This is the history of new jack swing music and fashion.
In this 7th episode of subcultures fashion called New Jack Swing History and Style we are going to explore one of my favourite subcultures ever New Jack Swing that became popular during the late 80s and early 90s.
As always before we are going to learn some facts about the start of this musical genre thanks to Teddy Riley and his influence on the major peak of this subculture during the early 90s. After i am going to show you 3 outfits that are New Jack Swing style outfits inspired from the Alex Vanderpool era and urban music videos from that period.
I love New Jack Swing fashion in fact is probably the start point for my love for vintage fashion.
