Op maandagavond kwam er een exotische band langs in 3voor12 Radio. Oké, YĪN YĪN komt maar uit Maastricht, maar de invloeden van deze band reiken veel verder. Thaise psychedelica, obscure disco, funk uit alle hoeken van de wereld: Kees en Yves mengen het allemaal bij elkaar tot een heerlijk laid back funky sausje. Op Noorderslag én Grasnapolsky maakten de mannen al indruk, en dat deden ze in de Live Box van 3FM gewoon even dunnetjes over. Tijdens hun allereerste radio-optreden speelden ze drie nummers van hun aankomende debuutalbum. Je kunt de complete livesessie hier terugkijken.
