- I'm recently fallen in love with the Outbreak OST.
I love all RE soudtracks, from all the games...but these ones from Outbreak series are surely the best. They're played by a real orchestra, I think. These music can really tell you some feelings, so atmospheric and fascinanting... Absoutely awesome!
I'd like to upload other tracks from the Outbreak OST. It seems this game is quite underestimated by Resident Evil fans. Since I've never played it, I can't say. But looking at graphics and characters, I think it should be great^^
Anyway, listen to this one. I'm going to upload other Outbreak tracks soon!

The part where you hear,” ahhhhhh!!!!!” In the huanting vocalists humming I always imagined it was the souls of the dead from the city, and the angels watching from heaven above crying out in anguish as they saw with horror that umbrella killed the people or raccoon city, and soon the rest of the world.

When you start to think with that in mind is makes the music even more chilling, ( to me at least ).

this part was amazing when the camera starts zooming out and you can see the ruins of raccoon city with the little Umbrella facility on that tower in the middle.

Yeah, they didn't want to add the characters to the story arch of the main series. They were more just supposed to be a random person's view on the whole outbreak, I thought they did it wonderfully, and a lot of the time (unless you're as good as me. XD) you need to rely on others to survive.
I bet every company which their failures were as lucrative as Capcom :P
Oh yeah. It was a great game, people were just too hesitant to try it and so eventually it was cut off. Due to the "failure" of File 1 and 2 I don't suspect that we can expect a File 3 at all. You can get one of the games for very cheap. The game sucks to me because I've had a taste of online, you might like it though even with the AI, it's something different from the usual so if you ever have 10 bucks go ahead and get yourself a copy. (Preferably the first)
It was a great game until they destroyed the online portion. It was underrated because the game tended to break into the storylines of the original series to small extents that seemed to tick off a lot of people. I, being a complete Resident Evil Junkie, would destroy Resident Evil 5 and 4 just to have Outbreak back online. The AI is dreadful. =P (Also there was a bit of lag issue but it more comedic than annoying, and the game wasn't intolerable, people just never gave it a chance.)
