The Handclap solo of the beginning is amazing!
Fantastic! Looks like Barney and Gillian went shopping at the same store for clothes though.
Best song ever ❤️😍👌💯
Whenever New Order were asked to do chart show appearances, they always insisted on playing live for real.
That sometimes ended up in disaster, as most of those said chart shows lacked the facilities to let a band play live. Their disastrous performance of “Blue Monday” on Top Of the Pops is good example of that. It went wrong because the sound people of Top Of the pops having no idea on how to do a live mix and the band members couldn't hear each other at all.
THIS performance however shows what happened when the performance went right.
nah bernie cant sing
@RastaSaiyaman It wasn't entirely live - some parts were clearly on backing tape(s).
@@crose7412 Err, what kind of instrumentation was New Order famous for pioneering?
- Sequencers and drum machines. THAT'S what you're hearing here, not tapes.
@@RastaSaiyaman Sequencers are pre-programmed, yes? Therefore, they're not playing it live like a bass guitar which goes back to the OP's post.
@@crose7412 Still, there are no tapes and being that sequencers in those days were VERY temperamental (which is also why early New Order live shows were so shambolic) even if they were programmed ahead of time, there was NO guaranty they'd work as intended.
Hey, come to think of it, look up early live shows of Depeche Mode (Speak and spell era) and see them use an actual tape player for the drum tracks onstage. Since that was the only way to perform those songs live.
And hey, we can continue arguing, but both New Order and Depeche Mode DID play live shows using what they had at their disposal.
This is pretty great.
Classic new order.
...This one flowed....
Countdown blijft tof!! 🤘🏼
Barney with a bass?
Yep. And Hooky with a standard guitar until he changes it for a bass around the 3:50 mark. They always swapped instruments when they played Confusion live.
Cool.. but they're barely playing anyway :U
Yep, just like with Atrocity Exhibition from the Joy Division era
@@diskonnektion5496 ...and 'The Sound of Music'.
Minha nossa...esses caras são melhores que o Kraftwerk....

You just can't believe me
When I show you what you mean to me
You just can't believe me
When I show you what you cannot see
You're hiding from feelings, searching for more
Sharing and hoping, untouched for so long
Our lives still change from the way that we were
And now I'll tell you something I think you should know
You just can't believe me
When I show you what you mean to me
You just can't believe me
When I show you what you cannot see
I prefer this version cos Live
eles ensaiaram antes???ou foi na raça ???
Have anyone noticed tha Hook and Bernard swapped their instruments?
Why is Barney playing bass and Hook playing 6-string?
Love this classic from east Russia?
England. Biggest hit was Blue Monday.
I think there was a 'second take' of this song. Any chance you could upload this? Many thanks.
o som ta estranho né kkkk
o vocal esta muito baixo
Com certeza kkkk
New Order ao vivo, nos anos 80, era sempre assim haha
They are very lucky they have that one big hit because this song isn’t cutting it.
Confusion is a pretty good song, it's just the live version sounds kinda wonky, it's much different sounding than the studio and doesn't really do it much justice
Your mom was very lucky last night
Another amateurish, mistake ridden Neworder performance and I wouldn't have it any other way😀
Arthur Baker remix was a proper B-Boy Beat!
