Puni is not a Center. Nor should he have to be. He's a natural Guard with swing potential but no matter what it will take Puni some time to get comfortable in 9ers zone schemes etc. Dont expect miracles here. As of right now Brendel and McCivitz whether you like them or not are "light years" ahead of Puni. Give it time.
I say if Puni does well in training camp and in the preseason start him and bench McKivitz. That young man has potential, he just needs reps. McKivitz has hit his ceiling and we cannot lose again this year. Failure is not an option.
