- beadaholique.com/collections/... - This technique, showcased in the Mazatlan Bracelet, can be used with many different materials including cotton cord, paracord, leather, s-lon and more. Depending on the material of your choice we recommend a thread zap or other heat source to secure the ends. You can also use a glue if you prefer like GS Hypo Cement or E6000. Note for larger cords you will use larger beads.

Wow, I have been waiting so long for someone to demonstrate these bracelets!! I’m a happy camper now, my wrist is going to be covered! Thank you so much
Me too I’ve been wanting to know how to do this for yrs i just never knew what it was called :)
"Baby steps" of my past Vacation Bible crafts!!! Thx for the memories, and now to make those 1-2-3 easy bracelets!! :)
Thanks Kat for showing us how to make these very cute bracelets--
Great video 👍 . I think the little tricks are very cool and the tool to make the macrame knot is really great. The mount is perfect, a great help and nothing can slip anymore.
BEAUTIFUL LUV THEM ALL WOW JUST CAN'T WAIT UNTIL I MAKE IT
This is the clearest How-To Video for this type of bracelet I have ever seen. Thank you!
Sometimes simple is better. Great bracelets.
oh wow thanks for the great video, cant wait to try making these.
Using a lighter to bond the ends reminds me of placing ballet silk ribbons in a book & burning the ends so they don't unravel!! Thank you for your vlog!!
Yep, same trick, the tiniest amount of fire goes a long way. Thanks for watching!
Thank you. Good and clear explanations.
Oh, what a great way to use some of those left over seed beeds thatvare not enough for another project😊
Wowowowowowowowo So simple and cute.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤loved it thanks for teaching ❤️
excellent tutorial
that helping hand tool looks really nifty! i might just get one for myself :)
Gosh, Kat! I am learning so much from you. And a long, long way to go! These sweet bracelets are charming and attractive. I will make some. Thanks so much!
Glad to help Sherron! Let us know if you ever have any questions, we love to help folks starting out!
super tutorial video. thank you!
You can also put some GS Hypo cement on your ending knots then just snip where you want with no burnt edge showing :). Cute & simple little bracelets.
Awesome my 7 yr old granddaughter was just asking me to make her a bracelet
Thank you, interesting and easy to follow!
Glad you liked it!
Que lindas quedan las pulseras y fáciles de hacer saludos desde Uruguay 🇺🇾🇺🇾🇺🇾
thank you tutor!❤️
Nice video Mam.
Thank you, great video. I loved the tips/secrets sure makes bracelet making go a little bit faster. And I loved your “third hand” gadget 😊
Aren't those great? We've had them around our studio for years and never really tired them out until recently. Big mistake, they're so useful! Not as expensive as you'd think either considering how solid they are: beadaholique.com/products/third-hand-tool-for-jewelry-repair-includes-alligator-clips-magnifier-cast-iron-base

Yes, I followed your link and checked it out already, in fact it is on sale right now I was shocked at the price so y’all will be sending one to my house soon.
Thank you very much 😊
Oh that's great thanks for the business Sherry! You're gonna love that thing
And so summer-y. In Arizona it's summer-y a lot.
First time watching, love the vlog!!!
Excellent Ma'am very nice techniques you tough us. Thanks ❤❤❤❤ Komal Bhardwaj
Nice! 👍
Thanks!
thanks for sharing these kinda bracelet we can make easy to make and can give gift easily to anyboady and looks not cheap at all but a nice thin u can make specially in loackdown and its so expensive for 1 bracelet online
Glad to help Suhani, helping people make more affordable jewelry is exactly the reason we make videos! Thanks for watching ❤️
I need a video that shows how to tighten on your own wrist :)
That's a good idea, it can be a little tricky. I like to press one end of the bracelet to my wrist with the ring finger of my other hand and then pull the other end of the bracelet tight by grabbing it between my thumb and index finger. It's a bit easier to show than it is to describe though. We'll see about making a video for it, thanks for the suggestion!
Glad this came up on my videos. I have been trying to do this by hand. Do you have a video without the device?
We have a recent video which demonstrates the same technique without the third hand device. The camera isn't as close unfortunately since it wasn't shot in our regular studio, but it will give you an idea of how to do it by hand. The video teaches the full bracelet, this link will take you to the 2nd half of the video where we demonstrate the clasp: czcams.com/video/w7yZNWUFuYk/video.html
Which size cord will work best with 6/0 seed beads?
Can you do a video of how to make a pura vida inspired bracelet?
Check the channel "Knack for Knots" All they have is Pura Vida knock off tuts.
Great tutorial!! I’m excited to try it. I would like to get all the tools to do job right.
What is the machine called to help you make the slip knot?
What kind is string did you use?
I think you are referring to the tool that is called a Third Hand Tool. The string is S-Lon cord size 18. It comes in a large variety of colors. Here is a link to the video page on our website and if you click on "Featured in this Video", it will list for you all the tools and supplies. beadaholique.com/products/how-to-make-a-strung-cord-bracelet-with-a-sliding-square-knot-clasp
@@beadaholique thx
Wonderful, thankyou soo much for the tutorials. Is it size 1mm thread that you have used for these bracelets?
We used this size 18 S-Lon cord, which is 0.5mm thick beadaholique.com/collections/s-lon?_=pf&pf_t_size=0-Size%3ASize%2018
Great video! Do you know if these stretch out when wearing daily? I made one for a friend and after a few weeks of daily wear it started to stretch out. Is that typical and if so what can I do differently. Thanks!
It may depending on the material. We used S-Lon size 18 cord, which does not stretch very much over time. Here is a link to the thread: beadaholique.com/search?type=product&q=s-lon
how do you pull it tight with one hand? I know it's probably a dumb question.
It's not a dumb question. It can be strange to do it one handed. You have to hold one side with the hand you have the bracelet on and with the other hand pull tight. I like using the Ez Hook to help me get my bracelets on. Makes my life so much easier! www.beadaholique.com/beadsmith-tool-ez-hook-3-in-1-fastener-1-tool.html
How to make a sliding knot if the cord is made of natural silk? It cannot be burned.
You can put a drop of glue at the end to keep it from fraying. I'd recommend a super glue style adhesive that's thin and easy to apply in small drops, here's the one we tend to use: beadaholique.com/products/eurotool-super-new-glue-heavy-duty-adhesive-3-gram-bottle
Can I use macramé thread and embroidery floss to make the bracelets?
You certainly could, as long as it fits the bead holes. Our favorite thread for this project is Super-Lon size 18. You can find it here: beadaholique.com/search?type=product&q=super-lon
What size s lon cord do you use for size 6/0 beads?
We are using S-Lon size 18. Thanks for watching!
can you use C-lon ass well?
What size length and about how many beads for a kids size?
Kid's wrist sizes are usually between 4.5" and 6.5." You can use about 15 beads per inch. Thanks for watching!
Thank you
Is there a tip to stop the sliding knot from slipping after wearing for a day. It doesn't come undone, the bracelet just is loose. TIA
Are you able to slide it back in place or is it permanently loose? Thanks!
@beadaholique permanently loose, I'm now constantly pulling it tight multiple times a day
Excellent! How much chord for a mens bracelet?
We recommend using enough cord for a 7 to 7.5 inch wrist.
А нельзя сделать ,одну застежку на все браслеты сразу ?....
Where can I find that exact 3rd hand device? Also what is that string called/size please?
Hi Angelina, we sell everything you see in the video including the third hand device. Here are a couple links to the third hand and to the size 18 S-lon cord:

@@beadaholique thank you so very much. I am having a very hard time with finishing the bracelet with the square knot. This is my first time trying it. Thank you for your quick response, Angelina
@@memyselfandi66 You're welcome, always happy to answer questions! I hope this helps!
Is there a link the slider bead??
We can confirm the slide knot is made out of the S-Lon Cord. Thanks for watching!
What kind of thread?? Embroidery floss??
We used size 18 S-Lon, you can see all the colors we carry it in here: beadaholique.com/collections/s-lon?_=pf&pf_t_size=0-Size%3ASize%2018

It's nylon

Que no lo pueden traducir al espesoa así ni como entender les.
Ni verlo así.
There was only one thing you did wrong there you didn't do the same as the other side with the wee beads at the end of the cord
