Got the tip if power button is broken then F2 and change power as Ac. So whenever you plug it, it will start without power button. 👍

Hi I have a shop down in the Grand Rapids area. Wondering if you've run into Dell gaming series turning itself on without opening the lid. I got it back from a customer I shut it down full shut down came back in and it was already at the desktop when I opened the lid and the auto power on is turned off I made sure there's no schedule turned on the lid is actually disabled in windows not sure what's going on

Hmmm, I haven't ran into that yet. You could try a bios/firmware update. And you have completely disabled flip to boot in bios I assume, if I think of something I'll let ya know. Dale

Have you read the instructions for this process on the Dell website? They contain multiple inaccuracies. Following them as written does not work. Such as "restart the computer". If I looked up the information on the Dell website, my computer is on. "Restart" does not work. Shut down and power on is required. "Press F2" does not work. As in your video, tapping F2 repeatedly is required. Thanks for making this easy. Dell did not!
