- Shree Ranganatha Swamy Temple is about 130 kms from Bangalore, 60 kms from Tumkur and around 10 Kms from Turuvekere. The temple is situated on a hill. There is Shaneshwara temple in the foothills. There is a road that is constructed that reaches the hilltop. Also, there are steps to reach out to the top. The view is amazing from the top.
Fair(Jatre) is held in the temple after the Sankranti festival and thousands of people gather here to celebrate.
There are many places like Mallaghatta, Nonavinakere, Madalingana Kanive near to this place. It is ideally a good time to spend a day here with friends and family.
