I had to really laugh when you mentioned the talk about how your planting looked at the coffee shop. I remember listening to the critique of the neighbor's crops on the way to town. Neck is doing great! We made 5 gallons of syrup this year which is alot for us.

As a kid many years ago, treated beans meant I couldn’t blow them through my peashooter. 😅

Yeah they are coated with a seed treatment that makes them immune to all sorts of perils

Actually they’ve been around for awhile now. There are even similar style tenders that hold four boxes

Are those saddle tanks just extra storage for your in furrow insecticide system?

Actually the saddle tanks are for liquid fertilizer. UAN 32 and ammonium thiosulfate to be specific. The in furrow insecticide we use is a dry granule
