      That would be a long video but definatly worth every min. Even more so if u know the mission storys as there can be abit confusion in some of them of what they are talking about.
      1 specific when Kerrigan turns into her true form and while that 1 is in my top 3 Blizzard cinematics if u dont know the conversations back at the leviation or the mission itself it´s a big ??? of what is going on or why she is doing it as alot of the overall context comes from the conversations betwinn the missions. Abathur´s conversations are the best. Also how did he´s overall face design get approved.

    Tyrael’s sword goes dark when mathael approaches because it destroys corruption, and mathael’s still an angel and his objective is ridding the world of demons . Side note humans are descended from both angels and demons. So mathael wants to kill all the humans because they descend from demons. He chooses not to kill tyrael because he’s an angel.

      And then the next game, Malthael revealed to be just another pawn that is greater threat than prime evil and Lilith. Lovecraftian being. We've already saw both Starcraft and Warcraft had those kind of it. The Xel'naga from Starcraft and Old Gods from Warcraft. I'll wasn't surprised, they going to introduced that in Diablo as well.

      @@mr.pointman1930 what I don’t understand is how Lilith is a greater threat than malthael. Unless the real villain of the game is her son. Because even if it’s inarius, like a lot of people predict, he’s a higher angel but malthael was an arcangel with a significant power boost.
      As for what they’re doing in the future I couldn’t guess since I never played either of those other games. And since they take so long to release each one that I won’t spend much time guessing the future of Diablo. I’ll leave that to people like you that know a lot more about the game.

      i believe an other reason why he didn’t kill tyrael is because he (malthael) recognised tyrael by his (tyrael’s) voice, and he did the thing with his scythe and tyreal’s face because he was wondering why he (tyrael) is mortal

    I think the word 'Nephilim' is used ambiguously in the Diablo universe. It's the name for the offspring of demons and angels, and the Player characters are definitely Nephilim... but I think canonically all humans are descendants of Lilith and Inarius, so it also applies to all other humans (I think). Humans are half angel and half demon in universe, and I think that's appropriate (It's also why Imperius hates humans).

    • @OverworkedITGuy
      @OverworkedITGuy Před 3 lety +2

      yep. Which is also why Malthael didn't kill Tyrael. Because while Tyrael is mortal, he is still an angel. And as result doesn't bear the taint of demon blood that all of humanity possesses.

    • @carp0x
      @carp0x Před 3 lety

      There is a lore note in game where one of the first nephilim explains that every generation of their offspring is weaker and has a shorter life span compared to the previous one, and after a lot of generations humans are basiclally what's left of the nephilim

    • @heartlessvoid2355
      @heartlessvoid2355 Před 3 lety +2

      @@carp0x Yes. Inarius, fearing the power of the Nephilim, that was greater than that of angels or demons, used the Worldstone to alter them and make them grow weaker over time. After many generations the once powerful Nephilim "degenerated" into humans. But every now and again a human is born with powers close to that of the original Nephilim. And one of them is the player character in the game.
