    More low end on the American Sound. More mids on the Ac Tone. Basically, the difference between Fender and Vox amps.

      What I didn't do with this particular video, was to play with the Voice control, which does a nice job adding mids or scooping the sound.

    I use the Joyo (harley benton) AC Tone with a DI / Cab Simulator. The DI / Cab Simulator gives the AC Tone pedal a bit of help to get closer to emulating the Vox sound. I go instrument - boss sustain/compressor - boss pitch shifter - Joyo ac tone - joyo analog delay - joyo atmosphere reverb - xvive di / cab sim - board & pa speakers.

      @@anotherheadlessdemo I got a simple one from Xvive and its all I need for the music & style I do. It also doubles as a Direct Input box. It can also increase or decrease gain. It can be turned on or off but I usually keep it on. I fiddle with it the least unlike the reverb and the AC Tone and the pitch shifter that has a multitude of different settings. Any cab simulator can really round out the sound of a amp sim and get it closer to sounding like the amp it is a copy of. And. I also use a little 20w Orange head & cab too depending on the song and turn off the AC Tone. or leave it on and set it to a "clean" Orange setting.

    You've completely missed the distinguishing features of these pedals. It's all about the "voice" dial. Set to noon on each.. You're not going to hear much difference. But when you move them on each pedal.. Thats when the tones really change.. 9 o'clock on the ac tone =ac30 3 o'clock =ac 15...on the American sound... 9 = twin reveb, 3 = tweed deluxe... Its all about the voice dial.. Then the eq.. And gain... Totally missed it dude. Shame

      The two pedals are amp simulators, not distortion pedals. As such they have two completely different sounds and purposes. The American Sound is supposed to represent tone you can extract from a classic Fender 58 Deluxe amp which has a much cleaner overall sound. The ACTONE replicates the tones of a Vox AC30 and the *early* British beat era sound. Joyo do another with a lot of distortion they label to as British Sound. It replicates the Marshall tones. Frankly, as owner of both the Joyo American Sound and ACTONE, this is pretty rubbish 'comparison' demo it must be said. Plenty of comprehensive demos and comparison with the amp reviews elsewhere demonstrating that with the right config dialed in up by the end user, both of these replicate the tones of the target amps as good as any pedal could, arguably too perfectly.

    Una demostración muy poco inteligente. Solo comparas el drive de cada pedal. No comparas las diversas variantes que se pueden lograr con la ecualización en clean, por ejemplo. Si esto no tuviera importancia, el pedal no incorporaría los tres controles de agudo, medio y grave. Lamentablemente hay gente que no piensa que la guitarra eléctrica también se puede tocar en modo clean.

    • @umovilac
      @umovilac Před 5 lety

      Estoy de acuerdo, y amén de eso, un control importantísimo de estos clones es el de "Voice", que solo lo prueba clavado a las 12 y nada mas... interesante el video por la comparación, pero muy pobre

    @jorgemartin3422 Před 5 lety +1

    A very unintelligent demonstration. You only compare the drive of each pedal. Do not compare the various variants that can be achieved with the equalization in clean, for example. If this did not matter, the pedal would not incorporate the three high, medium and low controls. Unfortunately there are people who do not think that the electric guitar can also be played in clean mode.
